I tried the app and paid for a month and was pretty active on it each day. BTW a 28 year old guy. Mediocre experience for me. Had one woman message who I wasn't attracted to and also was a bit sketchy due to the way she sent messages. Thought she was some bot or a scammer, but not sure. No other likes/matches besides that.

Overall I suck at online dating. I had a friend with a good camera take photos of me outside at different places and we did it on different days so I was in different outfit each time. Fun little experience with him as we got to explore some parts of NY along Hudson river.

Pics didn't seem to help though.

Anyone else try Bumble and got anything out of it?

Won’t work unless you have a good job and are handsome and fit.
Also most female accounts there are bots. Easy way to tell is they go to or work in another city in another nation but says they live right next to you

Handsome and fit? So what Sly. Most women look beyond looks. I can understand how you feel though, the people around you say you look more handsome than you think you look and you feel like you don't live up to those standards because you have no dates. In my opinion the most attractive body part women find attractive is the brain and 2nd to that is the heart, 3rd is the gut, but not abs.

Also in my opinion when you exercise you do it for health, not for looking good.

I agree that women look at many different aspects of a man. Problem with online profiles for me are that it's mostly my pics that women have to go by to evaluate me.

My mom and a friend say I'm handsome. I sort of accept the compliment. I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Looking fit can help "some" with a guy's and gal's looks. I bodybuild and while I do it for health, it's mostly for aesthetics. But health is good. Eat clean food and keep heart healthy so one lives longer.

You'll only know if they are evaluating by the pictures if you talk to them. My question based on your comment is have they said anything based on your pictures? I question that because of the statement that is broad.

Attest in my state women most women don’t look past looks. Women and men are both humans. Looks matter.

Sly, there are people with burned faces and facial dysphoria who are married. And get this, they live a middle class lifestyle, not a rich one.

My income is about $1000 a month.
There’s going be exceptions in anything but that’s not the majority. Some people win the lottery doesn’t mean I wil or thst most people will.
There’s a lot of competition on dating sites. Women openly list their requirements to message and date them. Failing to meet thst means you won’t get to.

All dating apps are sausage fests.

There's no dating app/side in the world which isn't since the invention of the internet.

One of my high school friends who is in the working class happened to get plenty of girlfriends. He works more than 40 hours a day working at the car parts factory and I am sure he is going through what you are going through Sly. Money and looks do not matter to women.

From what I've heard, dating sites are mostly men, and everyone on them is superficial AF.

I don’t think you get it, the only people who’d know what I’m going for is maybe homeless people or others on disability.
Your friend is working a full time good job, I’m on disability and work a a job considered just for teenagers in high school and considered not a real job for adults.

I’m sure that’s why most women say man has to be attractive or handsome cause it doesn’t matter. A lot of aspie women say looks matter. I don’t think any human will date someone they don’t find attractive, unless they’re are using said ugly person for something, ie gold diggers and abusive people.

I’m sure if I worked full time at a factory, or shipping place I’d have no issue getting dates.but I can’t and I’m not.

Sly there was another guy who is struggling with mental conditions and is on disability who managed to get a girlfriend to come from another state to meet up with him.
