oh, Bethie, now your description of it is what i would have needed to express my anger and shame as a teen. Men who want you to be their w*king bag are not attractive, not even for "just sex". they are insulting in a way i have no word for. treating you like ...as i said i have no words for that feeling.
to answer biostructure: i could want sex, period. but not with "something that breathes". i can't have sex if i'm not turned on, why would i have sex if i'm not turned on?? men seem to be turned on magically, without trigger, or feeling of any sort. if i want to be turned on i have to invent feelings, create them using the guy as a support. My artificial feelings would slip off a repulsive guy,or a guy who despises me, or a total idiot, they need something to hold on to....

I'm probably one of those women who just want sex with something that breathes.

Well; I used to anyway, but I don't feel the need now, I can't imagine having meaningless sex anymore.

Guess it was the only thing I was good at.

don't get me wrong: i have had meaningless sex. i once walked up to a friend's brother and asked if he would have sex , just for fun. of course he said yes. but he was not a jerk! or ugly. I did it more than once, and i never would have picked someone i wasn't attracted to.....

I picked anyone - i'm not proud of this, but often rich, ugly, old guys so when they were asleep i'd steal from them. bad times.

Well, our "trigger" can just be the female body itself. Granted there are female bodies that don't turn me on, but more of them do than don't. Being turned on is itself a feeling. It seems that most women can't relate to this, though I'm sure there are a few who can (and I seem to have run across a few, though not in real life).

Now if I were to add something beyond the body that turns me on, the simplest is probably the way she smiles, and then just the way she carries herself, especially if it is cute or shows she can get passionate or excited. Then I also get turned on by women who show a deep ability to connect to human and/or animal life emotionally, because of an "opposites attract" sort of thing. All of these can add considerably (and others can take away from a physically attractive person's appeal), but I regularly see female bodies whose owners I know nothing about, yet am sexually attracted to.
