It's a bit annoying to have restrictions on what type of picture I use as my avatar, but at the same time I feel the one I currently have is pretty much perfect in every way, so I'm very happy with it.

Is it weird that the thing that really gets my attention in this photo is the way light reflects on that plant? Also the blue of your eyes and the green of the leaves? I have a weird fascination for colors and lights. For example, this is the image I use as wallpaper:

Me too!! That's why I like it. I often take art photos and use parts of my face (the bits with colour) as medium, as well as leaves, flowers, etc. The photo you shared is amazing.

Got to get the more serious issues and meds under control before I can even start to work on all that stuff. I know I am lucky to have the abilities and privileges I do have. I am very fortunate. I am trying to fix myself so I am worthy of being who I can be and giving back what I can. I know both unresolved trauma and psychological illness (bipolar) are holding me back, but these things I can tackle a bit at a time.

Sorry for derailing the thread. I am behaving very self absorbed. I would have liked to just go back and delete all my posts - which are unnecessary, but as they are quoted there would be no point to this.

Me, too! I even got my kids into it, though of course they can't appreciate it like I do. And Gromit knitting, {swoon}! Knitting is one of my favorite interests.

Oh, not that many. It's just that I'm autistic and I'm not good at handling enforced socialization. I prefer to socialize on my own terms.

What do looks matter anyways where all going to turn into wrinkely smelly old prunes (before we know it :P ),

@Sunshower You've said nothing to be at all embarrassed about. I do hope you have success getting past your trauma and feel better about yourself.

FYI: I'm certain that there is nothing wrong or abnormal about a women not liking uninvited attention due to her good looks and wanting to be appreciated for attributes like her personality.

I agree with Lecks! When I read posts like this one in which a WP member really opens up his/her heart, I am touched. It seems to me that is what the true intent of the forums boards is.

Sunshower, thanks for a heartfelt post!

Sorry, I skipped through the other posts so I will probably repeat what someone else already said. The reason the few women on here don't post their pictures on this site is they would be bombarded by all the love sick guys. If I was a girl I wouldn't post my picture on here either. Sad but true.

Boo sent you a creepy PM???

*alerted*

yes, he showed me his stuff with a crown on its head. not cool bro

is that a joke or for real?

about the fapping thing - it seems complimentary. not that anyone wants to hear about it in detail but knowing that people find you that attractive seems like a good thing. i dunno, i am probably weird in my thinking, but it doesn't seem any different from fapping over Megan Fox or Brad Pitt. again, it is better left unsaid if it actually happens but the idea of it doesn't seem offensive to me. every time someone says they find someone else extremely attractive, i'd assume there is some fapping involved, or no?

Do you want to make it real?
