I give up
lmao! Height-weight proportionate means a woman is a healthy weight for her height. So if she's six foot tall, then weighing eight stone would be a little on the skinny side. But if she's four foot high, then if anything eight stone might be a bit big. It also depends on how much muscle she has (muscle weighs more than fat, so if she's very strong/fit she can be heavier weightwise while not looking or being overweight) - but basically, height-weight proportionate just means a healthy size. Literal meaning of 'healthy', rather than the media-inspired 'looks like a barbie doll' version.

I am worried that only another Aspie will tolerate the fact that I will have a very limited income while I am going to school.

A wise friend I had at college told me that even losers men can find a women. Which
ultimately means no matter how bad you are there is a women that will take you.
The finding part is the trick. I suspect the social skills problems aspie men have is 99% of their problem in finding a mate. Hell Tim has a job, car , a little money and likely want beat a women up or cheat on her that puts him way above millions of men
plus minus a few years of his age.

Emphasis on "a lttle" money. I am not rich by any means. Yet everything else I have are things that I feel that a potential partner should want, including all the emotional things I would be able to offer. But getting my foot in the door is the most difficult part.

Tim...buddy.
have you considered getting a small implental outsource income? in other words, cheat the system and go into business for yourself? That's what I've done. I'm a wedding photographer photographer. Not to mention that I've already got one or so marriages lined up. I like to think outside of the box, trust me, and while I am sorta poor( I do have a debit card which is a regular use for me) I rely on parents, friends and relatives.
trust me, I'm a jack of all trades. landscape care, wedding photographer, model photographer, and whatever else I can sum up at a moment's notice. I have training in Barista stuff and I could also train those who wanted to in martial arts.
I don't worry as much as what the girl will look like, or her age. Trust me, I'm the type who goes after older women, and sometimes it's better. I don't set my standards for being an Aspie, like myself, but I perfer people outside of the box. We are unique.
always remember that.

Dude you might not want to ask for a girl how is willing to have sex with you. Trust me!! Then you never found a girl because they will thank
you are not passionate and possibly a player or a pervert. Second thing there are only so many girls with ample chests. Go with a girl who really
wants to go out with you. ![]()
What would my prospects be if I were looking for another Aspie who either (a) lived near the school I plan to attend, or (b) was willing to do a long-distance relationship--with all the other criteria aside?

hah, I feel like I'm typing a copy of a recollection of a repeated idea I've posted a few times in the last few days, but, well, here it goes again... (If this is getting old, tell me, or slap me with a large trout, I'll shut up about it.)
It isn't about how you view yourself, it is about how the other person views you. If they think you are amazing, it doesn't matter if you think you are lower than dirt, they've formed an opinion about you. Hell, don't be mad if its a positive one, don't try to change their mind, accept it! Even if you can't accept it, don't complain to them about how you aren't good enough for them, or listing off your negative attributes. (Well, saying that she's more than you deserve can be flattering, but saying that she can do better than you won't help much) That, and if you're convinced you aren't good enough for (insert person, it doesn't much matter who), then you'll present that to them.
If someone can only "tolerate" your financial situation, if they have to "tolerate" anything about you, then they're probably not the best person for you. If you're in a relationship with someone, they should understand (at the least) and appreciate the situation you're in, financially, emotionally, whatever. Its give and take. You shouldn't only give, and they shouldn't only take.
I'm beginning to realize it is a matter of patience more than anything else. That, and presentation.

I have thought about it, and I am still limiting myself to other aspies.

One idea : stop looking. That sounds either mean-spirited or ridiculous, so I need to explain what I mean. You ever lost something, looked for it like crazy, and then be unable to find it? Then you find it later when you aren't even thinking about it? Well, the whole losing part has to be removed, but I've had that experience as applied to people. Not saying that's a guaranteed solution, nor that there's a guarantee of speed, but its funny how that kind of thing can just sort of happen.
This isn't a very logical choice, and I can't say I'm all that interested in trying it myself at the moment, but its an odd alternative.
Also, I want to make a distinction between this and giving up. If you give up, you're giving up on finding someone. This, you simply stop looking for a time, and see if someone happens to find you. Backwards thinking, and again illogical, borderline superstitious, but, eh, there it is.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
Good GRIEF man! Turn off your computer and go outside!
Don't believe all the hype that you're actually going to find "companionship" online! I, personally, have signed up on different sites (match.com
, yahoo personals
, aspieaffection
, etc.) just to "see" who's out there and who's looking. Sure, I've met people...gone to dinner...coffee...what have you...but if you're looking for an "Aspie", approximately 1 in 500 people has it...
The internet is not the answer.
There are LIVE PEOPLE walking around outside your home...maybe not at this moment, since it's 3:05 in the morning (I work nights, give me a break)...but they're out there!
As for matching your "criteria", well, good luck with that. You might just want to start with a girl who doesn't have a tail and horns coming out of her
...that's a good start!
This is a nice place to hang out, but don't live online.
Sorry to be so darn blunt, but GEEZ! If you REALLY want to "meet" someone...I mean, really REALLY want to meet someone, you've got to put yourself "out there".
Jen
p.s. As for me, I'm pretty darn satisfied with being alone. I know that I'm a mess and I don't want to put that on to anyone else. Think what you will, but yes, I'm fine with it. If I want social interaction, I go shopping. ![]()

Sadly, I haven't heard from this woman in almost 5 months. I explicitly told her that I wanted to wait until she was 18. Maybe she got impatient and didn't want to wait--or maybe something bad happened to her.
