I dont get your reference to "irrational" data?

If someone says "all woman need to be made to feel safe by men" based on their data, ie all the women they have known have wanted to be made safe by men then how does that hold water if all women do not need to made to feel safe by men?
By "irrational" I mean data that is intrinsically illogical. That is, data that would be unparseable by a computer without arriving at several contradictory conclusions. Hence the proverbial term "not everything can be deduced using logics alone" (even though this is just another weakly founded conjecture).

When working within the frames I'm trying to describe, you wouldn't necessarily be able to recognize how you yourself fit in fraac's model. You wouldn't necessarily see how, in his view, your behaviour actually consists of patterns recognizable by someone (something) that is analyzing everything.

nor would the model be able to understand all of the variables that would render the pattern meaningless.

I disagree. When you "zoom out" sufficiently and view humanity like an ant-hill, you'd acknowledge that those variables have only extremely minimalistic effects on the total behavioral pattern.

nobody is capable of effectively doing that. we are all affected by biases and the fact that our data sets cannot include all people.

You don't need to. The belief that it is so, makes all other points invalid and it becomes sufficient to confirm some tiny fragment of it. Now, I never said he'd arrived at something that is the absolute truth, but if his continued experience circumstantiates his own findings, he's basically correct. (You may of course view reality entirely differently.)

it is true that his version of reality is most likely true for him, and any new data would be manipulated to fit his own conclusions. however, anyone who creates their own reality should also be aware that equal and opposite realities also exist. so that is what i am communicating to him.

Well, yes. I agree. I've must've missed an earlier part of the discussion. :o

Why on earth, would someone spend their time, telling me that they find me so intriguing, and they're so sincere just to lag behind in their responses, and eventually cut off all contact? IT'S MIND BOGGLING! AND IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME TO ME!

Because you are not their world. People lose interest VERY easily. EXTREMELY easily. Also people spew s**t out of their mouth. I have talked to guys on dating sites and become bored pretty quickly.

If she is ignoring your messages, she can't be bothered chatting, and that's all it comes down to. Just move on. You're wasting your time and energy here mate - she may have liked chatting at one stage, but her mind is on other things now. It's not worth it.

A day or two isn't that much time to get a reply. Allow 3-4 days.

I hope she won't, for her sake. Think about the kinds of hairy situations would arise if they started dating! 8O

Who says I can't update my models to accommodate new data? I love new data. I live for new data.

hyperlexian: I have no experience with autistic women at all. Also, the oldest I've known was a super hot 39 year old German tourist, an unstoppable wave of pheromones, just desperately needing to get knocked up. So that's not a big safe world, but she had a successful career and stuff so it still makes sense.

When I say beautiful I mean connected to the real world, the opposite of crazy. By crazy I mean accepting lies. Crazy girls create their own 'safe' world of lies (overeating, delusions, bitchiness, too many cats, etc.) and have less need to be introduced into a big safe world where their DNA can propagate. Crazy girls love to be manipulated, beautiful girls need the real world. I find autism interesting in this regard as (in theory) we should be much saner, though, as I see from this topic, not always.

It sounds to me like you don't understand your data because your antennae are on the blink. You use everyday English words but you use them in Yourspeak. They are packed full of extra meaning to you - but then you dont explain your enriched meaning in dialogue. (OK in fact you just did so above. But you did this at the end of the conversation and not at the start).

Don't you find that people take those words at their everyday meaning?
If you dont bother defining yourspeak meanings, then you don't seek dialogue or understanding (and so to me, no you dont love new data as let it get polluted).

I do use the correct meanings of words. Other people often aren't seeing things clearly. Beautiful mean beautiful. How can a deluded person be beautiful? They wouldn't look honestly at things, their eyes would contain fear or hate or disgust. It would be most unsexy. Think of fairy tales for accurate meanings of words if it helps.

You seem to have an emotional attachment to the idea that I can't have a functional top-down view of human nature. In this case I'm not sure that showing my working would help.

I can but why should I have to do that to understand a stranger on the internet?
"other people often aren't seeing things clearly" this is delusional, its a two way process.

I do think I understand what you just said, I accept that is one correct meaning. You knew exactly how you were using the word "beautiful" to mean "not insane", but "other people often not seeing things clearly" didn't, cos you made it your jargon. You made it yourspeak and not accessible to others. Don't you want want successful dialogue? I guess I dont get that as it what fuels me in my life. Thats why I want to know!!
Do you only want those who speak your jargon to reply, is it a doomed test so that everything is only ever processed through one brain, ie your brain.
In my reality thats a shame, thats all. I love to successfully connect to those that dont speak myspeak. Its new data. Its exhilerating to try on other peoples shoes.
