My fuss is not about canada. Its about saying positive generalizations for the sake of apearing better than another group. I dont think anything bad about canada, just found that a statement like all canadians are polite was BS considering saying all men/women are polite would bring a shitstorm in this forum by both sides.

except i didn't say that. perhaps you might want to go back and reread my actual comments instead of fictionalising them?


Thats ok, because many here have been proclaimed to be generalizing even though they werent.

so your argument for misrepresenting me is that it's ok because other people have been misrepresented? interesting idea, but it doesn't really work.


funny, cause its something that we discussed some weeks ago when you talked about blue calling you a man hater but that calling someone out on their biases is ok.

Remember how you described all of those traits you consider not to be ladylike at the beginning of this thread? Were you describing what you aspire to be? Nasty, tearing other women down? There is no reason for you to be passive aggressive, the person you are calling "incredibly stupid" is incredibly level headed and capable of mature conversation, so provided that you are capable of having a mature conversation, it's reasonable for you to attempt to do so rather than resorting to passive aggressive attacks.

What's the point in being so nasty?

I agree. While hypers post made no sense to me I wouldnt take it as a sign of stupidity. Oddity? like hell yea. But not stupidity.

it is the point. these are examples when i have personally been misconstrued. please don't drag Blue into this, though. i don't think he knew me too well back then, and i don't think he really meant it. i think it's been a tough time for both of us recently, and i feel we are understanding each other a little better.

of course, other members get misconstrued all the time. this is an internet forum.
