Just feel sorry for the OP, asking a simple question and getting all this information and opinions

I have mentioned at least twice that this should be moved to another thread because it's way off topic. lol Maybe your pleas will work! :)

It's funny how people complain about going off topic and yet they are the ones going off topic. My theory is they don't like opinions that vary from their own.

No, it's just I said my piece then left, rather than writing reels and reels and spamming the OP's inbox. Not posting again.

Not looking like I'll be having sex for another year or three, depending on if I find a noose.

Or 10-50 years if you can't find a noose. That's what a prostitute is for.

This has probably been said but I'll post my opinion anyways

I would not be concerned so much because what worked for the latter might not work for the new partner. Everyone brings their own skills, preferences to the table and with patience and the willingness to experiment, you will both find out what works. It will be a learning experience for both regardless whether you have experience or not.

Agreed.

Here's a secret about people who have a bit of sexual experience. They expect the first time with a new partner to not be that good. No matter how much experience someone has or doesn't have, the first couple times with someone new, before you each learn what the other likes, are almost always disappointing.

So, if you're worried that your lack of experience will make your first time bad for your partner, don't be. They're not expecting greatness.

^Umm I didn't say disappointing and that doesn't even have to be expected but then that's me, I guess. If something isn't working just be open to try something else. It might not be fireworks but at least it shouldn't be something you regret.

This is not the common opinion that I have heard in my experience though, I've heard few women here and there arguing they wouldn't like unexperienced guys, and the reason being they want the guy to know what he is doing and would not like having to "teach" him, and men having the same reasons why they wouldn't want an inexperience woman.

So I think that the "inexperience doesn't matter" ideal may get a bit difficult in real life or that it is not that simple and easy as it's been put here, it is an ideal, but ideals and reality are different things, considering that there are actual women who are turn off by inexperienced guys, so any positive generalization may be a bit dangerous for the inexperienced guy.

Your point is valid if that is the kind of woman one is attracted to. I was not making a generalization I was giving "my opinion,"making a point that "those willing to experiment will benefit". I don't have much to say if the OP is looking for one night stands for experience points.

Disappointment depends entirely on expectations.

The problem for a virgin is, he or she has no idea what to expect, except what they may have picked up from media (books, television, internet, etc) ... which is generally not very realistic at all, and filled with ridiculous expectations.

I don't think resorting to hiring a prostitute is a good idea. That just shows people signs of desperation. You don't want to look desperate and careless, it doesn't sit well with anyone (notice I am not saying women).

You can be 19 or even 40+, don't try and force yourself to be with someone, it will only prolong your search. Turn on cruise control and let life work itself out. Do what you need to do to feel awesome and don't let the desire to lose your virginity be a crutch.

Trust me, i'm only 19, and i'm struggling too, but as long as i'm not seriously looking for someone, as frustrating as it may seem, I know someone will find me.

Some people actually would like a virgin.
You: "I'm a virgin."
Her: "Sweet. Because you don't have Chlamydia. And I know that."

As far as the sex part goes, there really is no such thing as someone who is universally "good at sex". So-called "sexual skill" just something insecure guys like to brag about to make them feel good about themselves. Even sex with professional porn actresses can turn out bad, and even virgins can give you the best sex of your life. It all boils down to chemistry. You just need to know where to put it. Sure, skill can play a part in it, but not as much as enthusiasm and compatibility. If you're a good match, everything just seems to flow smoothly, making the sex great. Do you think you would do better being previously broken-in by a whore? Or do you think she would find it more romantic that you saved yourself for her? Sex is only like 25 or so percent physical. The remaining 75 is all about human contact, sexual tension, and chemistry. Otherwise everyone would just buy Fleshlights and vibrators, and earth wouldn't have an overpopulation problem.

Take this from a guy who has been around. I am very familiar with prostitutes and what associating with them does to you. Take this from a guy who will tell his friends, but probably never his family, about how he lost his virginity by accident one new year to an older stripper who was high on methamphetamine. How he first experienced sex, then oral, then kissing, then affection in that order and not the other way around like one how it is supposed to be. Take it from someone who made all the wrong choices.

I lost it at age 29 in a friend-with-benefit situation.

For me, it's more about quality than when I have it.

I just know I can't be with someone who is asexual, saving herself until marriage, or refuses to do oral sex.
