They'd had maybe two conversations before falling passionately in love?
It's almost as whacked as Pretty in Pink.

The real couples' love stories would have been so much more compelling.

I was kind of glad that the love story was so unbelievable. It made it harder to truly care about the characters which made it less depressing overall. It still sucks, though.

I recommend the old Titanic movie, A Night to Remember (1958).

It brought me to tears seeing the love between real families torn apart.

Full movie and lots of great clothes for blind dates!
