Right at the moment I wouldn't date anyone, and I'm happy to keep it that way.

Well I'm a male and I'm not gay so I would not date another male. I'm not sure if I'd date a lesbian either. I'd feel like she was just dating me because I wanted too date her. If a girl is BI though then that's no problem for me.

I'm a heterosexual male-I'd say 90-95% heterosexual if we're using a continuum, so being romantic with other guys isn't something I'm interested in
-I'm sure some of the women I've been attracted to in the past have been lesbians, but if they're lesbians' I'm fairly sure they wouldn't want to be romantic with me
-bisexual women, sure, since I'm pretty sure I'm only interested in monogamy, it'd be functionally no different from being with an entirely heterosexual woman
-mtf transgender/transsexual (I know the terms differ in definition, but can't remember how currently)...... well, I think that we are what we think we are/feel like we are..... post-op-sure, they do amazing things with hormone therapy and surgery nowadays, pre-op.......hmmm, I'd really have to think, I'm not sure, with hormone therapy the surgery's pretty much only to change the genitals, I'm given to understand, and the hormones make everything else look female, so..... maybe, I guess I'll only know if I'm in the situation

I mean, all of the above depends upon mutual attraction and chemistry

I'm straight, and I would date a straight or a bi person. I figure another straight person is equally likely to cheat on you as a bi person. I don't really understand all this paranoia about bi people cheating on you because they're attracted to people of the opposite gender. STRAIGHT people are also attracted to all people of your gender, but that doesn't mean they go running around sleeping with every person of the opposite gender they see. There is such a thing as personal preference (for your chosen partner) and self control.

I wouldn't date a gay person as there needs to be physical attraction in a romantic relationship. Of course, being close friends with a gay person is definitely a viable option.

I'm bi-curiously asexual, and would date a straight or bi person.

Not sure about lesbians or gays.

I identify as straight, but I have tried dating a couple of guys before. It was okay, but the sexual interest was rather lacking, hence my identifying as straight.

I would have no reservations about dating a bisexual girl. It might make me more comfortable, in fact, because she might be more open to dating me if I do decide I would like to do some different things with my body, and possibly become female. Not that I would assume it to be okay, but generally that's a good sign of a bit of open-mindedness to that sort of thing, which would be rather nice, if not necessarily something I need.

If a lesbian were a good and trusted friend of mine, and decided to encourage me to transition and become female, and also wanted to date me, I might feasibly be interested, at least passingly.... ^^;

As for TG, I will divide that into various separate cases. I would date a female whom identifies as male or androgynous, but sees no need to alter his/her body. I would also date a male whom identifies as female, if she took hormones and looked reasonably okay as a girl, regardless of op-status.

I might feasibly also date a male identifying as androgynous, though it would still be mostly an experiment as per what I mentioned up at the top. Female-like curviness tends to increase my interest, even in a male, so a male whom identifies as androgynous and takes estrogen may be of interest to me. Never encountered such, but it's possible.

As for what it means to "identify as androgynous", that's a little different from not caring at all in this case, and generally means the person does take some active interest in being an "in-between" sort of gender.

I would have no interest in someone who identifies as "neutrois", or non-gendered, and actively tries to remove his/her gendered physical traits (which is different than having some of both, like an androgyne).

Also, just because I know what all of these are supposed to be does not mean I know why they do the things they do. Don't ask me about the motivations of a neutrois, or how it's that different from an androgyne. I don't really know very well, but I don't tend to like it.

I'd rather not.

I doubt I could be attracted to someone who was trans-gendered to be perfectly honest.

Gay wouldn't work for obvious reasons, but I've met plenty of cool lesbians.

Bi-sexual would be great. On the off chance they decided to cheat, it might be with a woman. Which wouldn't be as bad as with another guy, imo.

Yeah I would be less hurt if a man cheated with another man, because if it was a woman, you would think "Whats she got that I haven't?" but with a man at least you can say "Well, I don't have what he wants" and leave it at that.

Some believe that people are bi because they want an excuse to date two people at the same time & that women are bi because they want to attract more guys. I'm NOT saying that I agree with that but some people do have those opinions

This isn't always the case, but it is true for many. Being "bi" these days is seen as attractive in women by males, so they hook up with each other for attention, and try to convince themselves and others that they are "bi".

Assuming "date" does not imply promiscuous behavior or intercourse with the other person, i don't see why not and i consider myself rather straight.

Try having a bi ex who ran off with a bi-male friend of hers, she allows him to go off with men and he allows her to go off with other women.

Then I think the 'paranoia' is justified.

Straight people wouldn't date gay people, because it goes against the nature of them being heterosexual.

there was an old lesbian in an office i worked in a few years ago.
she looked very dated.
maybe in a thousand years, i would enjoy the thought of carbon dating her.

How is it justified because of her sexuality? Do you not think that a straight woman would run off with a male friend of hers?
If you care about the fact she likes women and it bothers you, why even get involved in the first place?
