Define "feminist culture"

American woman are virtually all worthless, so forget about them.

Exactly how is this? I'm in the sciences and some of the brightest individuals I have worked with have been women. My mother is a woman, she devoted much of her life to taking care of others. My doctor is a woman. She has also devoted her life to taking care of others. My sisters are women, one of them is an award winning photographer and the other is married, works part time and cares for her husband, and most importantly, all of these women are good people.

So exactly how are they worthless?

If they don't put out to every man who asks, they're worthless apparently.

He meant they're worthless as dating prospects for Aspies, as they have high standards and only want rich and social men. I assume he was imagining the famous US female seen around the world on TV shows like "Friends" than a normal Amercian woman like Erisad.

Normal? Lol, hardly. I'm an Aspie too, ya know.

I know what you're getting at though. If he had exercised a bit more tact, it would've helped his case. Also, the women on TV are not worth aspiring for. They have all sorts of issues. Not to mention their idea of a long-term relationship is 3 months. :D

Well normal as in none of us are hollywood stars i mean! :P I agree with you though. I saw Jennifer Aniston on intervewed TV a couple of years ago and found it really disturbing how she seemed so drugged and slured. And of course the disturbed likes of brittney spears etc seem like nothing to envy.

Hi there... to the OP, I'm sorry you're having such anxiety about your romantic prospects, and I wish you better luck. My husband also had a difficult time when he was in his twenties, thinking he'd never meet anyone... we ended up very happy together. (Sadly he's now deceased.)

Anyway, my point is don't despair about it. Also, I don't think you've had a nervous breakdown. A nervous breakdown is when you just can't function at all. You've had emotional outbursts which probably did some good to relieve your anxiety and tension.

Stay well, and don't let yourself become cynical or bitter with disappointment. If I could find someone to be happy with so can anyone. Also, I disagree with the poster who said that most Americans are worthless. I'm in the UK, but I'm of the opinion that the Americans I've met in person, or conversed with online are generally lovely people... and Americans have the reputation of being far more generous than most Europeans. Stay hopeful. It's a big country, there is someone out there for you.

God bless.

Pretty much. I would envy their money but it really screwed them up. There's nothing like a little financial struggle to keep oneself humble. :)

I think Aspie males might one day invent a world without women. They will just invent these egg pods that fertilise sperm and men will ejaculate into them and the babies will grow inside. Of course only male fetuses will be allowed to develop in the pods as men invent all the logical stuff like train engines that the world needs. They will be a lot happier in their male only world. Noone to fetch them a beer though, they will have to do that themselves.

Yeeah, good luck with that. I don't hold much confidence in those who want to eliminate the other gender entirely. Just because some are unlucky in the world of dating doesn't mean that all women must be eradicated. :/

it was my understanding since the NT's created the social game they made the rules
I mean people with AS can learn social skills, I have, took time but I did
and most importantly I try
no I don't do very well but its not their fault, they didn't like me
so I move on
not b***h over and over about how an entire country somehow is against me
I imagine a woman would want someone they can actually talk to and have a nice life with rather then someone who sits on a computer all day and can't work
I'd be the same way if I were a woman
(and I am really, I don't want some loner who sits around doing nothing while I work)
I mean obvious cases apply to change the last part

I've learned social skills too. My friends help me with that because they want me to do well. I know I've improved with that. :D

Sure, I'm not a master with the opposite sex but I don't think it's America's fault. I just have to adapt. >.>

I refused to learn for a while but I saw that I wasn't really making friends that way. So I swallowed my pride and started asking questions. Sometimes I got stupid looks but my friends were nice and answered them for me, leading to growth. Sure, I b***h here sometimes too but doesn't everyone? I get it all out in a rant and then move on. XD
