Us men do not like overweight women, period!

We do not like size zero models either!

We want a woman who is thin, but has at least SOME meat on her bones.

I am 6'2" and 165, and a woman should not weigh more than me, period, unless she is tall that is.

Oh wow!

We have with us the official elected representative of an entire SEX of people!

Right here on Wrong Planet!

:D

I'm 5'1", and south of 160, I stop menstruating and my hair falls out,
so if a number on a scale is a requirement for you to date someone, I'mma have to say
f**k THAT noise.

Finally someone male who is more offensive than me

Actually thin people have to justify their habits all the time. I pick my nose, I don't clip my nails enough, I don't shave enough, I don't shower enough, I watch adult movies, I go to bars (and don't drink or smoke but people complain anyways!), etc. Oh and my mom says I'm becoming a fatass because I am 6'0" 162lbs and could pick her up and throw her

I stereotype everyone, I'm still waiting on someone to figure out how to stereotype me since I'm one of the few people on earth you'll ever meet that is almost every stereotype rolled into one.

People should get treated the way they treat other people and contribute to the working order of the world, that's just plain it. I don't think people deserve the utmost respect just because their mom got knocked up and they happened. Respect is something you earn not by sitting at home getting fat living off of someone else, but by at least attempting to better yourself and the world.

Also, obese people are more likely to die in car accidents, and the mass they add to a car accident is more likely to kill other people in a car accident, so people and their cars need to lose weight to save lives. This reduces the cost of my (ridiculously high) car insurance. If people weighed less they'd save a little at the pump too. Them buying health insurance raises the cost of health insurance for people who are in shape as well because the insurance companies need to make up for the loses they make taking on unhealthy people. Them eating more food increase the demand and lowers the supply allowing for prices to be jacked up which hurts the lower class who can barely afford food.

Being significantly overweight just plain isn't good for society.

I know this is shocking, but

PEOPLE.

ARE.

DIFFERENT.

Not so shocking: you didn't bother to read our discussion of the fact that how much you weigh is impacted by a FEW (just a few!) more factors than the volume of food you eat.

115 at 5'9" is unhealthy according to the BMI, and my mom looks healthy and fine

My BMI is average in the 22 % area...my body fat percentage is around 11% which is just barely above what could be expected of a professional athlete. Do you really think BMI or lbs is an accurate scale of judging healthy and fine?

I take issue with this. Are women not men's peers in how offensive we can be? :D
If not, I'll have to try harder....

I meant weight-related habits, to society at large. Shoulda specified, since I like to think myself pretty adept at covering loopholes.

My point was more to the effect that you shouldn't respect someone LESS because of how much space they take up than you would anyone else for taking up a different amount. :P

Their business. :D

Well the solution to that would be to pressure insurance companies to adopt strictly risk/incentive based coverage policies-
a fat person who exercises is a LOWER payout risk than a thin one who doesn't, all other factors equal.

Yay for stereotyping!
Actually, lower socioeconomic classes are disproportionately overweight, due to HEALTHIER foods costing more.

Arguably, neither is pre-marital sex, but outside evangelical groups, there's no real campaign to stop that.

The BMI wasn't ever intended to be used as a diagnostic tool.

It was created to classify people for statistical purposes.

It's pretty laughable, if not downright amazing, that people have become so sold on the idea that (barring absolute extremes)
one's health is related to a single relationship of two variables.

You are, but no woman is going to tell you that you're a snot nosed 20 year old who lives with his mommy and can't get laid because you have a low opinion of women.

Pre-marital sex stops people from jumping off bridges, driving into buildings, robbing banks to fund drug addictions, etc. It's GREAT for society! Women forgetting their pill isn't :P

All your other points are entirely valid.

DON'T!

I think it's pretty encouraging thus far, with the exception of this one....individual.
