I`m pretty sure you already made a thread like this. I`ll give you ONE MORE CHANCE before i discard you as an attention-addict again.

Start with making a list for yourself with stuff to do EACH DAY, like shower, eat, clean. Doesn`t seem like something important but believe me you`ll feel much better when you go to bed and can think to yourself "Geez i actually did something today". From this point it gets easier and your vision of life will hopefully become more bright.

Maybe join a clan for a video game you play, pick up a productive hobby (Like making statue`s from wood, i dont care as long as its productive) and explore your creativity, everyone is creative but you have to find it inside yourself!

On the social side: What i did was watch people and mimic what they do. You can do this by simply going to a park, sit on a bench and ABSORB how they socialize. Take your MP3 with or atleast put earphones on your head so people wont approach you.

Taking care of yourself and getting stuff done is a great way to feel less depressed, the hardest part is actually getting YOURSELF to do it!

But i wont go in to this to deep because i want to see how this thread unfolds.

Why are you even making a thread about this if you're certain there's nothing you can do? I mean, there's "nothing" you can do, after all.

Do you just want people to sympathise rather than give advice you'll ignore anyway?

I would suggest starting with one thing at a time. Make it a goal to shower or take a bath and wash your hair and brush your teeth and shave every day. Every single day. Put on clean clothes. Make sure you have clean bed linens so you won't smell in the morning when you get up. Do that every single day for the first week. Don't concentrate on anything else. Just do that. People feel better when they are clean. After doing it for a week, it will start to become a habit. Do it whether you see a reason to or not. Just give it a try and see how you feel after. Do not say to yourself "This won't help" because that is self defeating. This is just how you start, it will not solve much of anything overnight or in one week. But start with that.

to be fair, i think it can be hard to change when the thing you're trying to change is the very core and foundation of your life. something that is all around you, is part of you, made you. plus i'm sure most of us know how difficult it is to self-motivate when depressed, unhappy and hopeless.
maybe you should post more in The Haven than in L&D MR20, you'd get better replies.

false.

you CAN change that 'crap', you just have to stop throwing constant and consistent 'woe is me' pity parties and start WORKING ON IT.

we've all tried to help you, but you dont listen. you just blabber about how you arent worth it, how you cant change, or other BS.

pretty sure this is the last MR20 thread i visit. the next one will be the same thing, i'd imagine. "WOE IS ME. CANT CHANGE. I SUCK".

In a way, yes

then why do you post it in Love & Dating instead of The Haven? we are geared towards giving advice in this subforum. if you want people to mostly give sympathy, it not happen in this part of WP. well, it will happen the first time. even the second time or third time you complain.

but eventually, if people's advice is ignored they start to feel like you don't want any of their help. but THAT's what we are here to do. help. with practical advice.

I've seen plenty of unattractive people get dates. You know why? Because they're confident. Confidence doesn't build itself, you have to stop dwelling and improve yourself as much as you can. Hygiene and physical fitness CAN always be improved, and believe it or not, even your face can be improved, you just have to experiment with hair and don't forget to groom! Stop sh**tting all over yourself and start giving a s**t! And I say that with the best intentions, so don't get upset.

Post a picture, MR20. We can give you pointers if you like. Don't be afraid of criticism, you have already bashed yourself enough, so what do you have to lose?

he did. if you click "profile" below his posts then "Find all posts by MR20" you can see the thread, or search "Am I Ugly"? it's the first thread that comes up. you might also want to read the other threads that spongy linked above before you post advice.

that was highly unnecessary and uncalled for. i think you're reading something into what i wrote that isn't present in my post.

just suggesting if you want to post advice to him, you might want to look at the threads that were posted to see the advice that was given already etc. also, you can see his pic that way... which i thought you wanted. as you are new to the forum, i thought you might want assistance with navigating how to get to those places.
