Ha! This was actually a kind-of joke around my work (the clinic, not the lab). It started to get a little weird for me, so I asked that it stop. It mostly has ... but once a reputation develops...
In any event, I've always been open about who I am, and what I do. I don't lie well... in a general sense. Last year I went to an international chemical-engineering symposium and met a very, VERY intelligent young man with whom I had an interesting time. He came to see me in my city... I were getting on famously, though, both of us knew it couldn't really go anywhere (I'm living life, he's developing his). He came to the clinic one day, and while the girls at the clinic thought he was cute, one made the comment, "Isn't this one a little too old for you?" He was 18.
Neither he or I laughed.
NTs base a lot of what they believe on what they see or hear. They use very little critical or analytical cognitive skills. It didn't matter that the gent I was seeing was an international scholar, working on an advanced degree in biometrics, or that we spent most of the time talking about DNA and genetic markers (not to say that other, more adult, things didn't happen).
To them it was simply an older woman seeing a much younger man. I was a
cougar, and he was a
pet. How de-humanizing is THAT? :-/
Attwood talks about the "intellectual orgasm" among the neurologically atypical.
I'm certain there are many of us that date according to various non-physical standards (including age or gender, such as myself), just as I'm sure there are those of us that date just like anyone else in the world does: does this person stir my pants? Yes? ZING! In this regard, I think there's room for some Boolean Logic. Here, I believe, is a place that demonstrates the meshing of both typical, and atypical desires and fantasies.
For instance, there's nothing inherently "aspie" about wanting a harem of young women. As a matter of fact, some might call it *very* typical.
Just a side note, by the by, if ever there's a point in your life in which you get the opportunity to fulfill this fantasy - and I hope there is! - you're going to regret it.

There's just a matter of logistics! For instance, did you know all those girls are going to eventually sync their menstrual cycles? That they're going to NOT all want to sleep in your bed because of positional preferences? That there's a *reason* cultures in which men have multiple wives tend to keep those wives in separate houses? HA! Boy are you in for it! >.>
It's like people who talk about having sex on the beach. SURE it sounds great...
Until you've done it.
And you spend a week or two recovering.

HA! Romantic is NOT digging half a cup of gooy sand out of your hoohoo
Have fun with that image
