You're just 18 and if I were 18 again, I'd rather go for one night stands rather than relationships. Sadly, many teenage girls would rather date a wannabe gangster, party animal or pretty boy rather than a shy guy, even if this shy person can both beat the crap out of and outsmart the womanizer they're madly in love with.

What if he's nerdy/geeky-type and looking of person? the night stands world is harsher than the normal dating.

I'd say they're easier to obtain, as you degree of "coolness" or stuff like that is less important. Furthermore, you don't have to be 100% honest when you're looking for casual sex. She doesn't have to know that you're unemployed, that you don't have a lot of friends or that you do not party hard every weekend.

Depends. Many AFCs are just as good-looking as your average bad boy and lack of social skills can be coered up for at least 12 hours with training.

Note that power may be something else as pure physical power, it can be mental power, or poetic power, or have a classy appearance or whatever.

Yes, it is very true. Nice guys do finish last. To get ahead in this world means that you have to stop being a nice guy.
I suggest for guys out there who are looking (for women) to read the pickup artist book called, "The Game." I believe, that the OP is right on the money. Even when a nice guy is not "after a woman," he can expect to be used and abused. I have on many cases helped people out of desperate situations only to find out that they have laughed about my generosity later. In order to learn how to "get woman," one has to learn how to manipulate their emotions. The book called, "The Game" teaches exactly that. The methods may not work on all women, but they will work on women in general. For all of the people who will be offended at my suggestion, please realize that I say, "in general." My recommendation is based upon 43 years of experience.

Yes you are. Nice guys finishing last not only applies to dating, but it also applies to everything else in this world. Why do you think that recent studies of corporate C.E.O.'s and other people who rank high in the corporate structure shows that these people tend to have sociopathic personalities? Most bullies, mean people, and others who tend to walk over others reach high status in society if they are reasonably intelligent.

Now with that said, it does not mean that these people will fare the best when the era of judgement (right ruling) comes. However, for those who are seeking to rise high in this era's society should no that being the nice guy will lead not to increased social ranking but rather a place and role of the door mat.
