What's the point?
I came across this thread via twitter and I felt compelled to reply.
You are clearly a handsome fellow. NT girls will quickly judge you by your looks. So, since you are good-looking and friendly, what could be going wrong?
Eye contact, probably. The glance is a very subtle thing. Too little and you are dismissed as being timid, too much and you are deemed too threatening. I have trouble with it after 40+ years of practice. If you hold the gaze just a fraction of a second too long, some girls will feel uncomfortable. Uncomfortable NT girls will chat with their friends for support. This creates a hostile atmosphere for you. Even if one girl likes you, she will need extra boldness to speak out.
I hate platitudes, but sometimes they have validity. Be yourself. Look to meet people doing what you love. I never met a decent guy at a club, party, or social gathering. I did meet my hubby of 17 years in a library. My Aspie Dad met his wife of 46 years through a hiking group. Special interests equals special friends.
Good luck to you.

It also helps knowing that you could break 9/10 people in half and squeeze out a set of presses with their corpse, then eat them for post-workout nutrition. (HYPERBOLE)

LOL!
The thing to remember about image and charm is that its appeal is not universal. It only sways the minds of set individuals.
You have to realize what your strengths are, and in which places you socialize they would be classed as strengths or weaknesses.
Looking like a hipster and talking about liberal politics in a working man's dive bar isn't going to sit well.
Dressing and smelling like a dock worker and swearing to the top of your lungs in a piano bar is going to get you a date with the bouncers.
Go figure.
Really? I thought he had a unique look.
I was gonna tell him to dress in baggy pants/t-shirts, but then I looked at his avatar pic. lol
In my opinion, even if you're a little overweight, dressing baggy isn't a good idea. If you do dress baggy, it's better to wear, say, a loose tshirt and tighter pants, or vice versa. Basically dressing baggy says you're ashamed of your body.

Really? I hate tight clothing, so I'm always wearing looser clothes. Doesn't mean I'm ashamed of my body, but I can see why it would come off that way, now.

I mean there's no reason to like...wear spandex all the time or something. But, if you can fit into a medium shirt, wear a medium shirt, don't wear a large or XL. That sorta thing.

I try not to, but sometimes it's just too unbearable to wear medium-sized shirts. I like tank-tops, but that's about the extent that I can handle. I usually wear LONG shirts that aren't huge, but are meant to be warn as long shirts with leggings underneath. I wear leggings underneath, obviously.

Baggy looks good on me since I'm kind of hispanic looking(tan with black hair/brown eyes)
It's funny when typical looking white guys dress like that though.

I tend to prefer the right size shirts with baggier pants because my thighs are quite thick from weight lifting. To the point where the "right" size pants become like emo-kid jeans.
Well with me when i would get friend zoned and she really wanted to stay friends with me, I'd ask why she did not like me romantically. She'd shrug and say "just something about you". When I tryed to ask what it was so I could work on getting better, not to try to get her to change her mind, but so I would not make same mistake with someone else. She'd keep saying 'just something about you". Very frustrating when you are trying to work on yourself, done everything you can think of and still don't know what to do.
Women and men are equally like this though. The difference is that I dare say most men would sleep with the female friends they find attractive, whereas women are a bit more discriminating. However, I also find that many men if rejected as a potential romantic partner will settle for being a friend, when in reality their interest in the woman was purely sexual/romantic.
Of course, that brings the question "how could you consider me a potential girlfriend/sex partner/friend with benefits and not just as a friend" and that's a bloody hard one to answer. Usually for me it tends to be that the combined attractiveness of the woman and the perceived kinkiness of her sexual tendencies (I seem to be able to pick kinky people out of a lineup) being valued in such a manner that without them her valuation falls enough not to be a worthwhile investment.
Yes, I know I relate way too many things to economics but, think of it like this. You're planning to invest $100.000 in a company that has 3 divisions, the 100 grand will buy you a total of let's say 10k shares. Now, the economic value is split 20% in division one, lets call this one mutual interest, 40% in division 2, let's call that one Personality products and 40% in Sex and appearance.
However, during negotiations the company announces that they are spinning off sex and appearance into a separate company not included in the deal you've been offered. This means that you are now paying 40% more for division 1 and 2 which makes the investment not worth it.
