That's true, they are different. However, my previous experiences have clearly shown that it doesn't work out and that my life is better without relationships.

So those times with those previous gfs are why you would dismiss potential gfs?

It was not as much about the gfs but about the fact that i'm not made for relationships. I do like women as penpals or online friends, but i definitely don't want a relationship.

To the OP, after intense reflection i have come to the conclusion that there really is something all women want: TALK. That's part of the problem since my average verbal output is roughly 30 words a day plus a few growls and grunts.

If there's one thing (all?) women want, it's talking in great length and detail without actually providing interesting information.

Me? I want chocolate. I want to be left alone with vast quantities of chocolate. And probably scotch. Yes. A nice single malt and a box of dark chocolate. I will love a man forever if he could just come by to replenish both of these needs and then go away. :-)

Why thank you Tequila! However Laphroiag is a little too peaty for my taste....Glenmorangie would do it, and costs quite a bit less!

I wouldn't say they're boring, necessarily. Women are kinda like a Michael Bay movie. Plenty of interesting stuff to look at, but confusing and pointless when you actually pay attention.

Thats really all it ever took with me.

And to not have the TV on.

i see where spongy is coming from. even a jokey post ended up with people speculating that women have little worthwhile to say, or or that their conversation is confusing and pointless. yet the members who said something similar have had long conversations or debates with women on WrongPlanet!! ! :lol:
