But you can eat carpaccio if you want to try raw meat in a "civilized way".

Oh Yeah. I'd be hesitant to try raw beef because this guy's been eating raw beef & he's clearly pretty screwed-up

I never saw a minced raw meat dish. I don't know if I would eat it. Maybe if it is very seasoned! :o

I actually ate raw meat when I was a kid. And raw kibbeh, which I eat to this day (Boo surely knows what I am talking about; by the way, did you know my great-grandfather was from Beirut?). Unfortunately, it did not work: I was not lucky enough to eat a toxoplasma. Instead, I ended up becoming the self-proclaimed "most undateable man in the world". Even Hitler would be a better partner than me, girls. Stay away from me.

As far as I know uncooked hot dogs aren't actually raw. If they are I ate them many times when I was younger. I always eat spam "raw" too. I like the kind with bacon now. I never noticed being any different. I've eaten lots of undercooked beef and liver before.

I'd love to eat raw meat but I'm scared of getting sick. Raw beef looks like it would taste so good if it was warm and a little bloody.

I've had rats since I was 14 and have a cat now and do most of the litterbox scooping (but not cleaning) and as far as I know never had toxoplasmosis.

I always wondered why the guys that are big rugby supporters like their steaks rare. almost like the cow would say moo when you poke it with a fork.

But now I wonder, so are we saying neanderthals made fire or was it a homosapien thing? :D
