It's saying my basic fear is being without support and guidance. I've been providing my own support and guidance; I never rely on people for those two things. Nor do I care whether or not I have security and support. I completely disagree with these results.

There are two quizzes. Did you try both of them?

No. Thanks for letting me know.

I tried to take a free version of that test online, and I thought the questions were stupid and I did not complete it. I just guessed what I thought I was when I answered the survey.

I decided to post the descriptions for each type from OkCupid... I think they are very good for someone on the spectrum since it kind of spells out how to relate with each type.
So here's type 1...

Quote:
1- the Perfectionist
you chose CZ - your Enneagram type is ONE (aka "The Reformer").

"I do everything the right way"
Perfectionists are realistic, conscientious, and principled.
They strive to live up to their high ideals.

How to Get Along with Me
• Take your share of the responsibility so I don't end up with all the work.
• Acknowledge my achievements.
• I'm hard on myself. Reassure me that I'm fine the way I am.
• Tell me that you value my advice.
• Be fair and considerate, as I am.
• Apologize if you have been unthoughtful. It will help me to forgive.
• Gently encourage me to lighten up and to laugh at myself when I get uptight, but hear my worries first.

What I Like About Being a ONE
• being self-disciplined and able to accomplish a great deal
• working hard to make the world a better place
• having high standards and ethics; not compromising myself
• being reasonable, responsible, and dedicated in everything I do
• being able to put facts together, coming to good understandings, and figuring out wise solutions
• being the best I can be and bringing out the best in other people

What's Hard About Being a ONE
• being disappointed with myself or others when my expectations are not met
• feeling burdened by too much responsibility
• thinking that what I do is never good enough
• not being appreciated for what I do for people
• being upset because others aren't trying as hard as I am
• obsessing about what I did or what I should do
• being tense, anxious, and taking things too seriously

ONEs as Children Often
• criticize themselves in anticipation of criticism from others
• refrain from doing things that they think might not come out perfect
• focus on living up to the expectations of their parents and teachers
• are very responsible; may assume the role of parent
• hold back negative emotions ("good children aren't angry")

ONEs as Parents
• teach their children responsibility and strong moral values
• are consistent and fair
• discipline firmly

I took the test and got type one and type six!
Type One - The Reformer
The principled, idealistic type. Ones are conscientious and ethical, with a strong sense of right and wrong. They are teachers, crusaders, and advocates for change: always striving to improve things, but afraid of making a mistake. Well-organized, orderly, and fastidious, they try to maintain high standards, but can slip into being critical and perfectionist. They typically have problems with resentment and impatience. At their Best: wise, discerning, realistic, and noble. Can be morally heroic.
Type Six - The Loyalist
The committed, security-oriented type. Sixes are reliable, hard-working, responsible, and trustworthy. Excellent "troubleshooters," they foresee problems and foster cooperation, but can also become defensive, evasive, and anxious—running on stress while complaining about it. They can be cautious and indecisive, but also reactive, defiant and rebellious. They typically have problems with self-doubt and suspicion. At their Best: internally stable and self-reliant, courageously championing themselves and others.
Type 1 - 6
Type 2 - 3
Type 3 - 3
Type 4 - 3
Type 5 - 4
Type 6 - 6
Type 7 - 3
Type 8 - 4
Type 9 - 4

This is absolutely spot on with me! Amazing!

sbarne3, i removed all but one of the posts because you can't copy and paste entire articles on WrongPlanet due to copyright reasons. you could take a paragraph from each "number" and post that if you wanted, but not the entire text for each number. thank you.

Am definitely a Type Four - Individualist. My boyfriend is definitely Type Nine - The Peacemaker.
The following describes our relationship perfectly.

Quote:
Enneagram Fours and Nines are both withdrawn and private, sensitive to the feelings and needs of the other, and empathetic to the suffering of others. Both can be tender-hearted and highly sympathetic to the suffering that they find in the world and in each other. Both want to find a deep connection with the other, and yet, both also want a certain degree of autonomy and insist on a very real degree of privacy. Both Fours and Nines can be highly creative, and as a pair they enthusiastically support the other's creativity and give the other a good deal of space in which to develop their talents....Both Fours and Nines also bring a sensuality and love of comfort that is noteworthy; this may express itself in their lifestyle, traveling habits, and in their sexual and other intimate activities...Fours can make Nines become more intense and expressive about how they feel, while Nines can allow Fours to feel understood and accepted for who they are.

This misdiagnosis caused me significant stress, which lessened upon finding out the truth about myself from my current and past long-term therapists - that I am an anxious and highly sensitive person but do not have an autism spectrum disorder.

My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I’m no longer involved with the ASD world.

I thought you could only choose one?

I picked enthusiast...but it actually is a catch 22....since I feel some people when they act differently towards me (or anyone else), I get into a kind of rage as to why they have done so...so I start trying to be enthusiastic about retaining their old persona.
