I don't do indirect, and it has never been an issue.

In fact, wolves have larger brains than dogs the same size. Seems like humans don’t want their pets to be too smart.

Hm true, adult dogs behave like baby wolves; probably they lost the ability to mentally "grow up".

But cutness is being more effective in surviving humans!
