Didn't expect to get a mention, but since you asked I've been in PPR mostly because of the partial government shutdown, then today I was out. Had to upgrade my bearded dragon's accommodations, and added two new baby dragons to the family.

Exciting day, yep.

See? Real life. Dragons = Real Life. I now have proof! Dragons are real!

Also... wut? I thought the government shutdown was just an unpaid vacation for 800,000 people. But i havnt been following that show. Far as i knew, congress never did anything.

What's a PPR anyway? Letch is dumb today.

It clicked one day. I have empathy now. It has downsides i didn't expect. It's going somewhat poorly, since people tend to suck at new things. That's how you know it's true.

I want to get a bearded dragon. What kind do you have? Is yours an expensive one or is it one from petco?

Bearded dragons... not the fire breathing winged variety.

The shutdown is a bit more than that, but it's certainly not anarchy or anything.

PPR = Politics, Philosophy, and Religion sub-forum here on WrongPlanet. I don't often venture there these days as I prefer to keep my politics off this site, but I wanted to know what other posters had to say about the shutdown. I am quite political, after all.

My 3 year old beardie Draco (get it? heh... ) was purchased at Petco. The two new ones I got at PetSmart, as there is no Petco in my small town. I'm not really into expensive or exotic pets. In fact, one of the new ones was an adoption, so was free, because he is handicapped.

Some of the dragons these days are really expensive but they have some awesome patterns on them.

Yeah, i just didn't figure it would affect anyone i knew. As for what i think, i was going to post in 'politics', but i havnt been watching the movie. This ted cruz guy hasnt been in any boxoffice blockbuster before, and reviews seem to be split, anyway. Republican movies are always low budget anyway, har har har.

Is Rand Paul, the movie, part 2, any good? Im usually afraid of sequels. I was considering watching Superman instead. *mulls*

Believe it or not, but some Aspies do have lives outside of this website.

LeLech, I'd go for Superman. Nothing makes you feel like manly quite like watching a guy in spandex on the big screen.

Lost561, I got a regular beardie and one with neat red markings. The one with red markings was 50something, and a regular non-disabled one was 40something. I was careful to check the conditions of the terrarium and watched all of the lizards for obvious signs of neglect before deciding to buy. Very important.

Meet me in the matrix glitch report thread. There MUST be some alternative explanation.

I think that movie made most men want a bit of sausage. :P

I have talked to people who take their bearded dragons on car rides, to the bank, to the beach, etc.

Yes, some do. Not me, though. They stay home unless there's a reason they cannot.

They could have also been banned.
