Okay, here's one I found that doesn't have any obvious metaphors

I would guess kinesthetic straight away.

Myers-Briggs quick guestimate - ISFJ, possibly ESFJ...more I think about it, ESFJ.

Do you want to talk to her?

How did you do that? I could only identify thinking modes from the types of metaphors used and then I mostly picked up on the visual ones even though I'm not that much of a visual thinker myself (used to be in childhood though). I'm probably an auditory thinker though it's hard to tell because we're all capable of all three.

You worked that out from that? I have to know someone for a long time before I start thinking about their MBTI and that's in person. So far all I've worked out about you is that you're a pom.

Also are there any rules about which MB types are compatible?

I don't even remember which profile that came from. I was just trying to find one with the least amount of obvious metaphors because I didn't want to learn stuff I already know. If I was interested in her I probably already sent a contact request. You want to look at one I'm interested in? I'll PM you. It's unlikely an NT girl will stumble upon this site but I just want to make sure.

I don't want to rush you but remember you have less than 17 hours before your tiger powers run out :)

I knew you weren't visual. Your sentences are too balanced for that, when the bulk of your posting is looked at.

She doesn't use visual verbs - in fact, they are notable by their absence. Her experiences are all external, and doing outside things. If you read her profile, it doesn't sound fluid - it's certainly not auditory. It's also the way she doesn't put things, as well as the way she does. The 'working in a field' idea gets repeated. In itself this is nothing, but it forms part of a pattern with other things.

Of course, I'm only going off five lines.

I'm not a pom. :D

Kind of. Forget them for now. I don't think you need to restrict yourself. A nice guardian could be a good plan for you.

PM me if you think I'd be of any use. I find this sort of stuff fun.

I think my tiger powers are already on the wane :(

You mean you're a yank? But you sound so British. You keep on saying everything is "rubbish" or "pants"

There are definitely more affordable, equally (or better) reliable solutions now. But I digress. Was just helping people get the joke.

Do you get it or not? If you stay in a literal mode, there's so much one could miss. On the same token, if the literal is missed, then one risks making things into not what they are.

However, you should bear in mind that this woman could have written her profile while typing on a phone, while sat on a bus in motion. The minute an early conclusion is come to, that means the doors of perception close.

Example - a man in his fourties, tottering wildly, looking scruffy. His speech is slurred. Is he drunk? Or having a stroke? And so on. If your first impression is drunk, and the evidence is misinterpreted, then you risk making an assumption that could be condemning him to his death.

Bout ye, big lad. Here's the wiki definition of a pom:

The term pommy, pom or pommie,[9] in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa usually denotes a person of mainly English heritage...

Withering put-downs are so much more fun than chat up lines.

Such a response would be:

"Yes, I am Amazonian. I have one tit, I don't need another"

No. I feel I should be with a women with a compatible personality but my analytical skills aren't good enough to work out who has a compatible personality. I really would like a deeper connection. Not merely sex and not merely someone who puts up with me. I guess the normal way is to just meet many women until I find one I connect with but if only a certain percentage match the criteria than I'd have to meet many women and I feel like I'm going at a glacial pace. It could be that I find one with a compatible personality and yet fail due to poor courting skills or it could be that one just seems to be compatible because when have really good conversations yet this wouldn't mean any possibility of deeper connection.

Okay, so maybe I was covering the whole of Great Britain. Then again in your earlier posts you never used any Scottish vernacular. Maybe I never used any Australian vernacular until I called you a pom. After all I want to avoid the cultural cringe. I'm starting to see what you mean about assumptions :?

Two words: know thyself. I've just said as much to someone incredible and brilliant and amazing, who is much smarter than me. Intelligence doesn't come into it. It's where you shine the torch, that's what one sees.

Do not despair, have faith in yourself. You are trying to answer the question of compatability on logic, and to avoid rejection. This is a very difficult thing to do. Of course, one could change their perspective on rejection.

glacial - that's one of my favourite words. Ohhhhhhh. Sorry, I've just...ehem

Some people don't neatly fit into a cultural or stereotypical box. I don't. It's funny watching people sometimes try and peg me. Most of the time, they're actually talking about themselves more. Children, now that's a different matter.

Sentence structure and punctuation. You don't tend to embrace the shorter sentence. Your sentences read like they shouldn't be read at a fast pace. And when I'm writing to you, I have this urge to slow down communication. That's a sure sign you're not visual. Once again, I could be wrong, and if I am, then I am learning something new. I don't understand why people insist on being right - what's it gaining them?

SCOTTISH?!? You're terrible, so ye are.

Not really on-topic as it turns out, but I've got this line in my head now. I told the cat but she's heard it before and still doesn't think it's funny.
