If you could take a pill to turn gay, would you?

I don't think a pill would be required. If I wanted to be gay, I could be. But I'm never going to make that CHOICE.

I have been approached by more gay men than women ( but thats because it's the 'mans job'.)
Also i suspect a more direct approach would be more successful than with women.
So if i was gay, then i would definately get more.

Would i want to take a gay pill?
No way.

I doubt very much that people actually choose to be gay. I would guess that it is a genetic predisposition; of course there could be cases where the person is 'spoilt' by bad experiences with the opposite sex. But in general i suspect it is not a question of choice, although i have no research.

(Writing it in underlined big bold letters will not make it so either way.)

Yeah, I've been hit on by gay guys a lot, but lesbians stay away from me (mostly but not always). I think that it may have something to do with my gender.

NO. I will not change what I'm attracted to in order to feel loved/get sex.

I would NOT take that pill. I thing men and cool to hang out with, but not get physical with (a handshake is as far as I go). But how do I cope with being rejected by women? I see escorts. Given the cost of medicine in the US, it's probably cheaper to hire an escort that to buy that pill.

being gay is not a choice. it is farthest from a choice. you either are or your not. you can repress it, you can not know it, you can remain blind to it, you can doubt about it, but you are gay if you are, wether you accept it or not

Sexual orientation is not a choice, it's a realisation. You're born as you are.

I always thought I was straight until I hit t3h intarwebz...discovered I was actually bi  I decided...face it, girls are hot too. I'd so touch those boobies.

Most guys are obstinately 'straight' because that's what society tells them to be...until they really explore things, and come to the realisation that maybe there's more out there than just boobies. Give it a try dude...don't just throw yourself into it, just gently explore the possibilities (probably online first, lol) before you go hard irl.

If anything, it may just open up more doors for you in the future.

And bi guys are hella sexy to many women :)

If it is not a choice it is a mental illness, for homosexuality most definitely IS PERVERSION since there is no biological benifit to reproduction by engaging in homosexual activity. Take your pick, does one choose to be that way or are they mentally ill?

That's a very old-fashioned bible-belt view of it.

But each to his own.

Less people to take you to the moon and back! :P

I'm sure you wouldn't complain about me gettin' it on with another gal either!

So if you don't like it, don't comment ;)

I would think somebody with AS would not be so quick to call people mentally ill because they are different from the norm.

I'm not that religious. As a matter of fact, I've never once brought the bible into any of my arguments... my opponents have.

Whether you are religious or not, the point is still old-fashioned bible-belt nonsense.

Bible-belt is the polite way of saying...well, hillbilly. Sound like the kind to condemn gay sex but date your sister. I know you're not, so stop trying to sound like you are.

And nice point above...you're an Aspie, yet you readily throw out condemnation of mental illness to those not like you. How intolerant  Really you should forfeit the fight and accept that AS is a mental illness too, if you want to go down that path.

Fact is everyone's wired differently and you of all people should know that. It doesn't make you ill, it just makes you different. Unique. Individual. You add a different perspective to human-kind that adds to the fullness of our flavour as a human race. Don't condemn other flavours unless they're damaging you in some way. In this case they're just slightly offending you by merely existing. Again, you should know how this feels and realise what it's like to be beaten down for simply existing!

Not to forget intense sexual satisfaction and pleasure, which is something a lot of people around here whine about not getting. ;)
