Well I'd have to actually live close to someone and see them more than a few times a year to consider it a relationship. My personal definition of a relationship is a very close one. Doesn't have to be that way for everyone, but it is for me.
I mean, meeting people online which you later become friends with or have a relationship with is one thing, but I wouldn't call that an "online relationship". To me that implies it's strictly over the internet, with very little to no personal contact for very long periods of time.
