But a person has to get over that, to have a full life. "Faint heart never won fair lady," for one thing. For another, if you are afraid of being rejected in a hiring decision, you are unlikely to apply at all.
I mean heck, you can get run over crossing the street, but if you let constant fear rule your life, you won't HAVE a life.
