Dating more difficult for high functioning males?

You just hurt me, you made me realize how much being a guy sucks today. I wouldn't be surprised if men today, especially my age, secretly want to become women.
There's advantages and disadvantages to every situation.
Sure if I was born a woman, I likely woudn't have any troubles with dating at all. Tinder would be on easy-mode and I likely woudn't have to worry about approaching as men would just approach me.
But I would have to struggle with other things such as periods, worrying about getting pregnant, childbirth, lesser pay, and having to be extra cautious at walking down the street by myself.
So all in all, i'm happy to be a guy. The only thing I wish were easier, was dating. Pretty girls automatically get attention from the opposite sex. If you're the average guy, you have to work for that attention.
If I were born a woman, there is no doubt in my mind that I would have been in a relationship by now.

One rarely finds similar evidence of women on the spectrum being married. However many are of course....all of the women I knew on the spectrum offline were married. It may just be that their husbands find no fault with them, don't recognize they are on the spectrum, or don't care to post about it online.
At my local AS and SAD meetings nearly all women are either married or in relationships and nearly all men are single.

You wouldn't have trouble getting men who want to have sex with you. That's different than dating. To be blunt, sex is cheap and a man does not need a woman for it. Additionally, if you think sex would be the same beast for you as a woman as it is as a man, or that you would even have a desirable pool of men with whom you would have sex, then you have a very big misconception.
You'll get a lot of these guys

And if you do get one of these guys....

It will probably be Boo doing one of his experiments.

Most women want a committed relationship with someone in their age range, who has their stuff together, and for a woman on the spectrum, who has a lot of competition to contend with, that can be difficult.
Good point! As a woman you would get more dates, but you would also have a more idealistic view of a potential lover. You would seek for an equal partner. And that can be very difficult. Especially if you're well educated, well paid and tall.

I'm not tall, I'm not well paid for my area, and I'm educated enough to value people who are not formally educated. I am a female with AS, and as such, I lack typical feminine traits. I'm a female version of an effeminate male. As far as relationships and marriage goes, NT men want NT women, probably more than NT women want NT men. NT women will settle for imperfect men because they think they can change them. NT men want the ideal woman from the start. There is a saying "Women marry men with the hopes of changing them. Men marry women with the hopes that they won't change."
Anyway the only time a man would have an easier time in life being female is if he were transgendered, and born a female in a man's body.

But that's a silly exaggeration, very few the people who are that deformed, there are plenty of good to average looking guys on dating sites, and plenty would like a casual sex, check my other thread about males numbers in dating sites.
If you see most guys as equally ugly to this one above, then you have a serious pickiness problem.

That's another good point. I agree. Men and women see love differently. A man in this case may think that he is not loved for what he is, because his partner expects him to become better.

And plenty of guys would enjoy a date without sex!
Yeah, we're not doing the "women have it easier" crap.
