you can go to music shows? going alone can be uncomfortable sometimes though.

as far as volunteering i guess you don't have to be "interested" in it as long as you like the idea of it and feel good about helping. i would urge you to at least look up volunteer options in your town and see what's being advertised. you may be surprised how many there are to choose from.
