I'm the same! But... people kind of long for hearing those words. My boyfriend once totally exploded because after 7 months together I didn't say "I love you" (he didn't either haha)... Then I sat him down and explained to him how I show love and that I thought people can generally decode those actions. I felt - on the other hand - a bit unloved because he wasn't doing things I think show love. We're on the same page now, he became a bit more of an action man

But yeah... it was hard at times.
He still thinks women generally love-chatter a lot and talk the honey bunny sweet nonsense talk and he calls me his boyfriend

because I'm so NOT like that.
