What do you think of women with tattoos?

I don't like bumper stickers on cars, either. tattoos to me are like bumper stickers for humans.

a flesh colored tattoo wouldn't be so bad. as long as it wasn't put on my skin.

I have tattoos. I love them. Nothing else matters...
If someone doesn't like them, well whatevs

I definitely made fun of one of my exes for having a "tramp stamp".

Most girls these days just get, well...they get colorful girly things tattooed: flowers, butterflies, moths, birds, cute mammals, etc. I notice a lot of people (either gender) get Michigan and/or Great Lakes tattoos. I don't know if that trend exists in other states too.

Obviously I don't literally mean people in other states with Michigan tattoos =) That would be strange.

It’s because older society hasn’t moved on from the 50s. Back then it was unheard of for respectable people to have tattoos. I’ve talked to my parents and grandparents about it in the past. It will likely ease up more as the younger generation ages.

I've met some very kind women in my time...and some truly unkind ones.
Some had tattoos; some didn't.
There was no correlation between the presence or absence of tattoos and the presence or absence of kindness.
Therefore I don't think of women with tattoos.

Now that you mention it, I once had a very elderly female patient who had very old, faded, monochrome (India-ink blue) Sailor Jerry-style 'fouled anchors' and such up and down both arms. Guessing by her age and the obvious age of her tats, she might have gotten them in the 1920's or 30's; de rigueur for male Navy or merchant seaman at that time, but completely unheard of for women. She was irreversibly comatose; but I so wanted to hear her stories of those tattoos!

(Paramedic is as great job for someone like me; all social interactions are limited to about fifteen minutes. Even I can pretend to be normal for that long.)

I have 5 tattoos, 2 are always covered up. The others are on my arms, they're small.

Anyway, I think I'm kind.

I'm dating one, so I suppose that makes me a fan...? Though to be honest, I don't have much of an opinion on piercings, tattoos, hair dyes etc. on their own, but now I associate those things with her, which raises them in my eyes.

My stance has softened a bit in recent years but I still think tattoos are not only butt ugly but more specifically I can't stand people who mindlessly follow the crowd. It was like in the 90s how every "rebellious" and "nonconformist" boy got their left ear pierced like Michael Jordan. At least in that circumstance you can remove it and the hole will eventually close over: with a tattoo it is permanent.

If I had money I would be investing in tattoo removal services. They are getting more and more ridiculous (I see a dramatic rise in arm, neck and behind the ear tattoos) and like it or not will lead to greatly decreased employment opportunities in a time where it is almost impossible to find a decent job starting out. Eventually these young women (and to a lesser extent men) are going to realize their mistake, especially the ones who get a significant other's name permanently visible on their body.

I think that women with tattoos are being themselves and making themselves happy. Tattoos make them happy and that's why they like getting them. It's like me wearing a helmet or a real lady wearing a dress and carrying a purse. People of all genders like to do things that make them happy.

I like tattoos on people of any gender, prefer piercings though. Makes me feel like I have something in common with someone if they have a tattoo.
