How can you be sure it was not a potentional loss? Think of it... if things progrossed and worked with him you may have been married with a 15 yo child by now.

Tbh my gf did use to smother me with constant texting - she has a strange motherly type of showing care like constantly wanting to know what I eat when I sleep what I am doing ...

I did hint on more than one occassion that I am not much into this; she thinks i am so aloof.

This morning she sent me this:

Who puts these ideas in their minds??

It's not a loss because the thought of that is not something that makes me feel good. A sort of dread filled me as I read that. 8O

Oh My! I don't know what to say to that. That makes me feel uncomfortable. I am not able to offer that level of "support".

Yeah, you know that 'holy part' of a weekday , between 8 PM an 11 PM? ....which basically is the only leisure time after work (and after gym and shower if it's part of your routine) of the day to read or to watch a series or movie, or to game or even to enjoy eating something at slow pace? (and not in hurry like in a lunch break) You know, it's the only "Me" time one can have - but no, if you're in a relationship , especially with an extrovert you should expect losing at least half of this evening time over replying to text, or to a voice call to tell you what she/he did during the day in detail....too much details. Sigh.

Ok social media helps to some extent. At least if they have an account you can comment on a picture. With nothing to go on what can you say to someone you hardly know by text message? I'm much better at talking in person.

Did you ever do Ramadan, Face of Boo?

It's Ramadan now. Until June 14th, I believe.

That's quite endearing really.

Any thoughts on the thread would be appreciated.

It's like I wanna be in contact, but I don't want to be too in your face. We're in a same group of friends so I'll see him again eventually some time this year. But I'm like, when?

Delayed gratification

Although if Tom Huddleston is free then yeah that'll do instead. :)

Preposterous! Don't you know that Saint Steve Jobs personally invented the mobile phone?

Before the Blessed Steve Jobs came down from Heaven we used to communicate by throwing rocks with letters wrapped around then.

The games on the old Windows PDAs/phones (Windows CE) for instance were way better than the mobile games today - it had many of those old windows classic games.

:| The OS wasn't much efficient for mobiles but the things you could do on it were unlimited.

I know. Sim City 2000 for Pocket PC was glorious! Now instead we have crap like Sims 4: Pets for iThing and a million different versions of AdWare: The Game.

And there was Age of Empire, not the sh***y AOE we have on iphone now. I also remember EverQuest, Tomb Raider, Wolfenstein and a wing commander clone (forgot its name) on it. The thing is that were the exact games ported to windows ce/pocket - and not farmvillized like the iOs/Android games today.

Even the Symbian on Sony Ericsson had great classics.
