Our office is open....but only essential employees report.

Only stores selling essentials still open.

We’re in a rather dire situation......especially for at-risk people.

Recently divorced here - and yeah, it sucks, but I am willing to bet you'll be better off being on your own. I know it feels really hard right now, but you will get through it. And you'll even realize how many little things added up to produce big problems, and you'll thank him for ending it.

Good luck, but I'm sure you don't need it - you got this.

Bingo. I'm glad now, glad I'm alone, every day I get stronger. The first few days were rock bottom, I just about felt like the sky was falling. Now I'm like, damn, this is nice! No griping, complaining, no one controlling me, telling me all my bad points. The truth is people like or accept me in general. Does that make me "not as Aspy?" I don't know. But he was always super-critical it seemed to me. When someone is cheating, I think they get super-critical of the one they're cheating on, in order to justify their misdeed in their own mind. He certainly hit the snooze button on his Conscience.

Ive been divorced twice - both NT and the usual difficulties that became too much. The key thing here is that I had limited insight into my ASD with both so kept trying to achieve the impossible.

I'm with my third and final one now. She is NT but has considerable experience of ASD, in fact her previous husband has AS. We get along fine.

So it is possible.

Based on descriptions I've read, I think I'm ASD, and always have felt different, but it's hard to really know. If someone on the forum calls B.S. on me and tells me I'm not at all Aspy, I will be like, O.K., thanks for the input.

I know that the differences between my husband and me were like night and day in regard to social activities. He always wanted to be around lots of people. I could deal, but found that taxing. It didn't help they were people that were his friends, not mine. He always disliked the idea of inviting over anyone I liked, on the few occasions I asked.

Same here dude.
I'm an essential employee b/c I can fix computer stuff. I don't mind. It is nice to feel needed.

At least now you know you are essential-that is a good feeling. We are going to that here tomorrow or the next day.
