Not to compare situations, but I can definitely sympathize with your apartment issue - I am looking to move for the job I'm starting soon (will be work from home at first but too far of a commute once back in office). Unfortunately it's in a pretty upscale area of the state, which is okay except for the price of course, as it seems you're well aware. I really hope for all the best for you. It sounds like you're making a really smart move with the pharmacy tech education, I feel like that will turn out quite well for you.

I'm sorry about your online friend, as well - it's hard to maintain relationships in circumstances like that (with him being a jerk to you quite often). I hope things work out with him, though, seeing as you do like him and seem to appreciate the relationship outside of some of the downsides. Are you able to tell him when he's hurt your feelings? (If you don't want to continue talking about it, I completely understand, just wanted to know if you are able to stand up for yourself in that situation).

It is a medical front desk position at an urgent care. The majority of my professional experience has been on the paperwork side of medical. This will be my first patient facing position. But I do LOVE working with medical insurance!

It is like endless data to comb through and know and memorize and analyze. I love numbers (not math lol) so i love auditing accounts and figuring out patient responsibility and all that.

Plus insurance is great but it is what it is. There are no abstract concepts to grasp or apply. This is your deductible, this is your coinsurance, this is your copay. You have met "x" of your deductible, and todays charge is "x", therefore you will be responsible for "x" amount. Of course assuming no other claims hit your deductible before ours.

I can put ppl to sleep with my extensive knowledge of both commercial and medicare insurance. (also not a great topic to talk about on a first date lol)

And they are going to extremes to prevent the spread of covid.

I am becoming pretty well versed with the male aspie from talking to ppl online. I know he does not mean anything malicious and he usually later explains that he was overwhelmed and what I did/said that overwhelmed him. And then we talk about it. We are just friends bc he is on another continent. I think part of it is the change aspect of it. I was used to texting him at certain times of the day, and if that goes away, I dont really know how to navigate the change in my routine.

And yes, I stand up for myself and tell him when he is being mean and/or harsh. Which is usually only because he is being brutally honest. He's never mean to be mean.
