It depends how she said it.
In my culture, "f**k off" can mean "go on, you're having a lend of me" or "you're teasing me"
Usually said with a smile.
But if she looked pissed off or turned away from you then maybe not.

I’m not sure how she is as a person.

People think of Kate Middleton as sort of an ice queen, it seems to me.
