Fizz, if he's not able to deal with it
in a direct confrontation, you still need
to be able to communicate. I've found
that notes make a decent means of doing
so. They can be taken incredibly poorly by
some though, so you should make it clear
as to why you are using this less natural
means.

Communication is vital. Don't give up what
you have without exploring it fully.

Yep. He will never change and in the meantime, is stopping you from meeting somebody who will appreciate and stick up for you. Life's too short to put up with being treated like garbage.
