Yeah, because men in this forum never reply to threads intended for women only.

At the very least they haven't tried to make men look THAT thin yet... men on average are built larger than women to begin with... The average man is a good 20-30 lbs (10-15kg) heavier than the average woman (even moreso in the US than in other places, although the US has its own obesity problem to contend with as well...), and if men had to become anorexic en masse because of the standard the fashion industry set, I would probably lose all hope in humanity...

The fact that women are suffering in this way isn't bad enough for you? Seems you've been brainwashed into subconciously viewing this gender specific torture as acceptable...

I never said this whole system was acceptable (and I do agree that it is torture), I was just trying to get at the fact that there is a separate system doing the same thing to men... I was not trying to be sexist and disregarding women entirely... It seems to me that you are the one being sexist by thinking that only women can be victims...

Trying to be objective I think that girl 2 has a more interesting face but that's about it, she would look a lot better if she wasn't anorexic. I don’t really like smaller than size 8 UK, though size 8 is too small in many cases. Size 10, 12 look fine to me. I like women who have interesting features. Like I like how girl 1 has an hour glass figure but the breast are not too large. Tbh I'm ignoring the fact that both of them have platinum/straw blond hair, which has never appealed to me for some reason.

To the guy that said that models are thin to make clothes look good: Who do think makes the swimsuit look better then?

I have nothing against thin women. I like them, but girl 2 is too thin for my tastes.

Anorexia and bulimia are illnesses. Media, industry and peer pressure cause them. But they won't usually know when they look good. It becomes an obsession to be less than before. Even some of them know they don't look good as skeletons but they have difficulty breaking the obsession.

Oh lord... Well at least it hasn't caught on with nearly the scope that is has for women...

Anyway, I think this is all about what the opposite sex finds attractive. Most men (not all, but most) usually find large breasts attractive, for example, hence women flocking for breast implants. Likewise, women are usually attracted to money and power (don't try to deny it), so men always try to appear richer... that was the context of my previous argument anyway...

Uh oh, someones feeling feminist rage again. Before you asplode, could you make me a sammich?

Now to be serious. So many people in this World, far too many. The majority of us are lost and cast aside, no one can care for everyone. Those left behind often sacrifice themselves in order to accept the ideals the blessed majority hold.

You have to be this way, you have to think this, if you don't feel this you do not belong here. Insecure people praying on other's insecurities to make themselves feel strong. Today, strength is nothing more than how many sheeple you have following behind you.

It's one huge disgusting system. Follow the leader, it's all been said and done before...what could you possibly attribute? Everyone is discouraged from being their self, just so they can live.

f**k them. I can't begin to mention the dirty things I'd do to the size 12 model, the other...I wouldn't touch with a 10-foot pole. Mmm, your forced starvation is just soooo sexy

 That's why I don't usually post anything in the Love and Dating section anymore, ppl get so judgemental. I wasn't at all being sexist, I was just stating my opinion of what I thought about the 2 pics. I really didn't know it was for guys only. As for sexism, I see guys generalizing all the time about women in these forums. Big reason why I don't make topics anymore in Love and Dating. I don't like sexism one way or the other. As for the above joke, I'm sorry that was funny. :lmao:

You all need to lighten up.

I don't know why women get all self-conscious because they're not bone thin like those models. If they knew anything, they'd know that 99.9% of men find that pretty unattractive. But no, no matter what we tell them, they accuse us of lying and thinking they're fat :? .

I am focused way more on interests and beliefs than looks.

That's generalizing again Cyanide. No that isn't true for all of us women. I think I'll leave now. I think I've made my statement pretty clear. You guys do it all the time. If a woman does it, let's get on her case.

I've heard from lots of men that they just find breasts attractive, but size doesn't make a difference.
Most of the women "flocking" to have breast implants are in the adult entertainment industry, any woman that can support herself isn't likely to want them.
Me and most women I know could care less about money or power in men. We look for personality, guys who are fun to be around and who will appreciate us.

Yeah, now that you mention it, I have zero interest in having my breasts cut open and silicone bags shoved inside.

Hands down, Jen Hunter is a very sexy woman. I don't even know how to classify the second one. You have to remember, the fashion industry (or so my wife tells me) is not interested in the models, they are interested in showing-off the clothes, that's why they seek out human clothes hangers--the clothing is the point!
My wife has a very similar body type to Jen Hunter, thick in the thighs and butt, but modest in the abdomen and chest. To be honest, I LOVE MY WIFE"S THICK THIGHS AND BUTT!! !
Women are supposed to have an hourglass shape. I have also found that from an evolutionary perspective women are supposed to be a little thick in the thighs and butt as it is a child-bearing advantage.
It's funny, if you take a few minutes to look at websites aimed at a male audience (nudity and porn), you will find very, very few ultra-skinny women. On the contrary, most attractive women usually carry a few extra pounds. If you are concerned about what men find attractive, ignore the fashion industry and go to media outlets aimed at men.
As an interesting aside, I believe that Marilyn Monroe was a US size 8, which would be considered over weight by today's standards, and she is the biggest sex symbol of all time!! !
