I seem to have an aspie fetish. Aspies turn me on for some reaosn but when i think of them wearing a diaper, it turns me on more.

And I thought I was a deranged pervert :D

Might be true a lot of the time but not always, I've defiantly gone out with some of those alpha, cheerleader type girls. I think they thought I was like deep and s**t

Seriously though a lot of people on here have some very negative views of human nature. It's not all bad, plenty of girls have romantic fantasies about finding an thoughtful intelligent man who they love solely for being who they are.

It's not all about six packs and hard cash (although yeah that probably would help a little)

A lot of women are self centered and have been brought up to find Prince Charming. They have a delusion about who a perfect man is.

The type of woman who would love an Aspie is kind and caring, puts other people first, has motherly instincts and likes to take care of someone. She would like the devotion and attention she would get, the safe feeling of not being cheated on. I think an older woman is a perfect choice for an Aspie because of these traits, she is not hung up on all the things that younger woman are. But.. society being what it is, most guys are not interested in looking above their age and I've noticed most Aspie guys here have a list of what they want and they are only attracted to the really beautiful girls.

If you open your eyes and your heart to more options, you'll find her. Don't get hung up on looks and age. Love is love, it doesn't have to have pretty packaging.

That ideology of Prince Charming is getting so old...

My wife was first attracted by my intelligence and weird sense of humor. (I think I knew we'd have to end up together when, at the picnic that was our first face-to-face in meatspace, we wound up, for no reason that I can recall, singing a duet of Tom Lehrer's "Poisoning Pigeons In the Park".)

Okay, I just asked her, and she says that the kind of woman who finds Aspieness attractive is the kind who doesn't want to have to sort through "bull**** and facades" in her personal life, the kind who values the blunt honesty inherent to AS.

Either:

Something similar to what Butterflair says - I get to thinking of the women who volunteer at the autism drop-in I attend and women like them might be the answer to the question. Since they at least have an interest in Asperger's and autism that they volunteer there and most of them seem similar in character to each other. Women who are tolerant and patient, are good listeners, have a strong sense of social justice and equality, are sympathetic, etc.

But even then I'd seriously doubt whether, from THEIR standpoint, they'd go for Aspies over neurotypical, more intuitive men.

Or:

Women who are arbitrarily and intuitively decided by society at large to be out of the mainstream in some way. Such as someone with a condition like OCD for example, as there are features of AS they can relate to. Or a bisexual woman...

Actually, I was thinking that if there is a strand of women with whom Aspies might have a chance, it might well be bisexual women. For a kick-off, it also has relevance to Asperger's. An amazing percentage of people on the autistic spectrum have a sexual orientation other than heterosexual.

For example, apparently the bulk of Donna Williams' female Aspie friends are bisexual or lesbian.

I'm noticing that bisexual, and for that matter lesbian women are more easy going to interact with than other women. If they're bi they might not have hang-ups about the whole male/female power thing as much, since their orientation is to both sexes.

So, bi women possibly a better chance for Aspies, they have a far higher chance than heterosexuals of having Asperger's anyway.

Am I the only person on here that retains something of a positive outlook on life, women and human nature generally?

I've met more than five women like that, and I'm pretty sure there are a lot more of them out there.

Women who are control freaks. They see socially inept and insecure men as easy victims to manipulate.

That's a type I hadn't thought about but sadly I'd agree with.

I agree with Oli.

I don't think that Aspergers specifically is sexy. It's about the guy who has it. I've met fab guys with AS and I've met complete jerks with AS.

What I find refreshing about the guys I've dated who have AS is that there is by far way less BS. I always knew exactly where I stood and I could be my equally blunt self and no one got offended. I've never found them to be socially inept and they weren't the least bit critical about my own quirks.
