you seem to have a lot of anger, completely out of proportion with the people and events of the forum. you're getting more and more wound up. instead of attacking people, why don't you try seeking assistance for what is actually bothering you in your life?

i've known you to have many personalities on this forum, and often you have been quite thoughtful and kind. you are attacking DogsWithoutHorses for complaining without offering useful advice, but this is exactly what you are doing in most threads that you post in now.

you didn't used to be like this, but the forum itself hasn't changed... your posts definitely have. if it no longer makes you happy in any way whatsoever, i do not understand why you post here anymore. you seem to be trying to make everyone as miserable as you are, but it won't work. people are more resilient than you give them credit for.

Hehe, you have joined in the hate! Muah. We hate you too. Welcome to our club of ironic hypocrites. (I hate people gleefully. It can take some getting used to. And a helmet, a helmet is definitely recommended.)

MXH, maybe you are confused by Dogs without Horses's avatar. She is not actually Medusa. Maybe your subconscious is reading into the mythology ;)

My life and my posting are two different things. Ive learned years ago to never interlink internet and irl.

If it was just that, id have mentioned it just once. But when i see it as a daily occurrence and others do too I decided to stop being a candybottom and let her know this isnt welcome. Ive tried to do it via the official wp guidelines but as the last time ive done this the guidelines didnt do s**t. So I take it in my hands, which are often messy.

Not at all. The forum has changed a lot. Maybe you forget the days of random senseless fun. Now mostly subdued by dick measuring contests. Most of the fun people left, and im still friends with most of them. But this place changes in a monthly basis one step farther from its intention. And kindly asking people to turn it around isnt working. So ive had to change the way things are done to make things happen. Im not out to make people in general misserable. Im out totry and get rid of what i think is causing this problem in here. this section was built to discuss things about getting into and sustaining relationships. Its been a battle of the sexes and s**t flinging due to BS as made by bitcheswithoutcause. I know to not feed the trolls but theres too much feeding going on. Maybe like a goldfish a little too much food and shes gone

Ah. Random senseless fun. I do recall some of that... I miss the fun people too. But my fun people left long ago. Sniff.

i don't recall you kindly asking anyone to change their ways on the forum, ever. you used to be kinder and more funloving, and then you switched to flaming and attacking people. there wasn't a transition period where you asked people nicely to post in a different way.

there are lots of people still having fun on the forum. but the forum is a support forum, not a "random senseless fun" forum anyways. so if it has moved away from that climate, great.

you haven't reported anyone to the moderators in an extremely long time (over a year), so your assertion that reporting doesn't work is not based on any recent experience. we have about 50% fresh blood since the last time you reported a post, so frankly you are not giving those moderators a chance by assuming they would not help you.

EDIT: you can't quite pretend that you have separated your life issues from forum posting. if you did, then your posts would be neutral or happy, not angry and bitter.

Id like to take a moment to remind everyone that personal attacks arent welcome and there has been little/no discussion within the last page of this thread.

Please try to focus on actual conversation if you want this thread to remain open for a long period

Im still the same as i always was. Except its harder to find somewhere to pass that fun along. Also, in case youve not noticed from this and previous times, i only attack when im attacked. I just dont let go of things.

So now we have no fun and no support. Not a great combo is it?

Ive reported 4 people and a couple of them multiple times in the past 6 months, including dog. And never did anything happen.

My personal life and posting life have always been separate. Ive never been one to take my personal issues out on someone else. I was hoping that as someone who i thought knew me quite well that youve not seen me as a self defeatist. Ive always blamed myself for my failings, ive always wondered what it was about myself. Ive never blamed or taken it out on anyone else. Thats just not who i am

heylookie there, more hogwash. considering you're the one that wound me up on personal attacks in the first place that you would be one to moan when it comes back to hit you in the face. you're not much of a lady either missy. Hell you're not much of a good girl either. but its good to throw something at me so ill refocus on that by quoting what someone who i lived with for almost a year has to say about what you said about me
"What on earth are you talking about? I know MXH very well IRL and he's as far from a sexist as a person can be. Trust me, as a feminist I wouldn't get along with a person who was one.

I can also confirm to be fully true that MXH has helped two women here when they were attacked and threatened. He's selflessly been helping a lot of members here, men and women, especially women.

Low tolerance with stupid people/comments doesn't have to do something with the gender. If somebody takes it that way, shame on them."

by the way, this also makes me gag. :eew: i like the idea of being cool, but the other two adjectives will never, ever describe me. i am very proud of that fact. my parents raised me right. :D

oook... you want people to know you have absolutely no class and are not a lady.

i'm sure people will appreciate the tip on how NOT to insult you since you are proud of these facts, but i find this is just further evidence that i do not understand Canadians...

"Classy" sounds stuck-up and snobbish, and lady has its own problems, and both of them sound a bit parochial and antiquated. Someone who described herself as a "classy lady" would be seen by many as a woman lacking in style/character, not possessing it.

Although I have heard "classy" used in a sarcastic sense, to mean someone is being a jerk, more or less.

(reposting the last post before the sh*tlordery began)

I think the word "classy" and "lady" etc. are kinda especially interesting in America because we're in such deep denial of our class system. So these words still have an association with wealth and privilege, "acts they they were raised as upper class" but because we're obsessed with the idea (largely a myth) of class mobility, the definition has to bend to fit the cultural norms.
Calling someone out for being poor would generally be regarded as being in poor taste.
But if you say it's because they "lack class", essentially saying they act like they don't have money (which some people with money do) it's not as frowned upon.
I am partial to the term "real classy broad" just because it's impossible to take seriously.

Well, I don't mind intelligent debate... but emphasis on INTELLIGENT. What these two are doing is immature and stupid.

I like to think that a few members have a hard time understanding the rules.

We´ll see what can be done about that.

Not just about personal attacks and stuff. It's just that it's always the same old people derailing threads with the same old tired antagonism over and over again. It's boring to read and hard to get away from.

Ya, like the ladies who faint when they hear a bad word.
