True and this is part of why I do martial arts. Even girls can domestically abuse men and in such case it's extremely likely that the guy won't be taken seriously. For those with psycopathy/sociopathy the irony in this situation would be exactly the point.

Absolutely, I would do the same. Just based on:
1. Knowing there are bad people. People who legitimately feel great about doing awful things to others.
2. Knowing I have an extremely compromised ability to judge others using nonverbal cues and intuitive factors
3. The idea that it is quite likely that bad people who happen to be NT will be able to sense reduced receptivity to nonverbal cues/intuitive factors and therefore ripe target for exploitation.

Definitely can understand not wanting to be taken advantage of.....but do understand the NT partner if innocent will tell you to play with yourself and you will be alone again. Nobody wants to be constantly under surveillance.

I don't think it requires that much effort to do that on your own without everybody knowing about it. Besides I wouldn't equate something like getting a hair from your kid with putting your partner under surveillance.

I see them very much in the same way. I mean you're not just taking a hair you're getting it tested because her word isn't good enough. Having someone followed is the same thing, you don't trust them.

Without the trust I wouldn't feel comfortable in a relationship anyway, so what would be the point, they're a lot of hard work.

I used to think that NT's were better judges of character but I don't think that any more. I think they just think they are. If they were half as good as they think they are they wouldn't constantly misunderstand us. They rely almost entirely on some sort of voodoo, instinct, vibe thing that is obviously bollocks. I don't have this and go by peoples actions. It's one of the reasons I don't attach quickly.

To put it simply, you see it wrong. And yes as a matter of fact many times her word isn't enough and she is lying, as he is many times. Having someone followed is a direct breach of their privacy, unlike taking a hair from your own (maybe) kid. Wanting to be sure that my kid is my own is not a direct breach of the mother's privacy, let's stop saying absurd stuff please.

Wow! No, really, going behind someones back to check up on them whether it's having them followed (which is not illegal so no need to get your knickers in a twist) or getting DNA tested is the same as saying that your partner has no honour. I have every right to choose not to be with someone either because I think they are without honour or because they doubt mine.

Obviously you are free to assume your partner is guilty until proven otherwise. I know a few women who have that attitude about their husbands and regularly check up on them, it doesn't seem to bring them much contentment.

Getting the DNA tested is not saying that she has no honour, it's just contemplating the possibility that she doesn't, big difference. Also it's not necessarily all about the mother, one can also want to know for sure if the kid is his own, totally legitimate. Of course you have all rights to decide not to be with a guy that wants to check the kid's DNA, but I wouldn't be so sure that you'd find out at all.
I am not so sure either that it is very legal to follow someone all around the town, if they find out they might give you legal repercussions.

I'm with fluffy on this.

I think this is one of the primary reasons why NDs shouldn't get NT partners. You never know if they are honest or not, and even if they started out as honest they may change and take advantage of you later, and you basically would have no idea about it.

I also wouldn't attach to somebody that I couldn't trust 100%, and doing things behind your back is a huge breach of trust. Actually, right now, I wouldn't settle for anything less than a mind-to-mind connection.

In terms of judging real character I think you're right. However I think they can easily detect if someone has cognitive impairments.

Doing a paternity test on my own does not equal full on 24/7 surveillance. That is factually incorrect to conflate the two functionally as identical and paints taking a paternity test as insidious behaviour. I would question if perhaps you might be of the view that a person like myself even desiring a romantic relationship is inherently in itself an insidious behaviour.

If due to social deficits I have absolutely no ability to know otherwise, and the woman would definitely be aware of those social deficits then the only reason they would do that is if not innocent & fully of the mindset of believing that I fully deserve to be cheated on. That confirms probable guilt or prejudice towards me in my mind. Either having actually done that already, given serious thought about doing so or else outright viewing me as a lesser and outright inferior human being. There is in fact no relationship that ever existed in this case because the women who would make that comment always held the view that the ASD man 100% undeserving of love. A women who held that resentment from the get go was never ever actually a real participant in the relationship. I write their view off as simple discrimination against me based on my disability and that the whole thing was a game from the start.

It should be obvious because having ASD at least to the extent that I do means an obviously & severely flawed ability to assess the trustworthiness of others, that others are extremely likely to become aware of in a very short period of time. No one would fault a 5 year old for doubting a stranger offering candy. The kind of social deficits in play mean there's no one easier to lie to. It is a part of my disability and if I were NT I likely wouldn't consider it. It's a just a matter of life that I have to operate solely on facts and write off my intuition as basically beer goggles coupled with severe myopia. Although no one hates those that have to wear glasses due to poor eyesight.

Well said. It's this paired with an acknowledgement of a reduced ability to read other people. I expect simply that the women whom entirely lack honour will see me as an easy target and come find me.

They'll find out if in fact they were guilty and the test reveals the child definitely isn't yours.

This is understandable IMO. It could happen later as the sense for the other person would be that they would 100% get away with it. Things can become more tempting when you know that no consequences will follow. I would hold the same view except that NDs are very rare, I've only met one other ND in person in my life so far. I hope for a mind-to-mind connection but won't write off others easily unless overt discriminatory beliefs become made apparent like racism or ableism. Virgin or not a virgin, ND or NT, none are instant disqualifiers in my mind.

Personally I wouldn't end a relationship if someone told me he wanted a paternity test. If we'd be married I'd not be too happy about his distrust but I'd be fine with a paternity test. If we weren't even in a long term relationship and the child just happened it's more than understandable that he can't trust my word alone.
If we were married and he did a paternity test and kept it secret and I found out that'd be a much bigger reason to reconsider the relationship. It's twice the distrust towards me and it gives me a serious reason to distrust him. It's not the same as 24/7 surveillance, but how do I know that there is not more surveillance going on I just haven't found out about yet? If the relationship was a good one then he probably had no reason to assume I cheated on him, aside from the reason that he knows some women do. I had that reason to assume that I'm under surveillance too before. Because some men do. But then I'd actually have reason beyond some men do. I'd have evidence that he does. How am I supposed to trust him having evidence that he is not trustworthy, if he couldn't even trust me without any evidence that I am not?
If he has already proven that he does such things behind my back I have no reason to assume he did precisely this one thing and wouldn't do other things behind my back or distrust me in other ways.
In that case, unlike if he told me, I don't only know that he doesn't trust me, I also know that I can't trust him.

I wouldn't care why someone distrusts me, unless it was my fault. The fact remains that he distrusts me and a relationship full of distrust is worthless to me. It also confirms my assumption that surveillance and distrust wouldn't start or end with the paternity test. Your reason to distrust can be applied to every situation, not just to paternity.

100% of the time I got scumbag or “up to no good” vibes or gut feelings off someone, they turned out to be a scumbag or up to no good. BS to you, useful to me.

Got to laugh at some people.

Yup, it's foolproof. No chance she'll find out.
But make sure to not get it mailed to your own address if you live together or you really need to trust that she doesn't look into your mail even though you don't trust she doesn't cheat.

Wouldn't you expect them to be professionals and to be used to having some discretion for the guys who pay them money? If for some reason they don't, you could always give a friend's/relative's address or use a lab where you go take the results yourself.

I don't think she has to know, even in that case. I doubt that test can have legal value so telling her would give you no advantage. I'd try using another 3-4 tests to be sure and then start seeing a good lawyer to make a good strategy without telling her anything or acting weirdly, that would probably give me an advantage.

It's amazing how you justify being a$$holes. You really think it's morally ok to dna test a kid? Try being careful who you go to bed with.

You really think NT chicks are out gaming autistic guys? No. They are out with other NTs.

You don't trust her? Don't use your phallus on her.
