Thanks Pepe :) I find that I relate better with animals than people... If I had to choose an animal that I relate well with... it is a bear.

Yeah,
Autistic people are known for their affinity with animals, more so than people.
I am one of them.
Animals are better than people.

Most people of my cognitive type (ECU) are never diagnosed because of this. We can pass relatively well but the same issues are all there. When I lived in Japan as a part of the JET program, there were teachers of Japanese descent. They had the highest rate of quitting, depression or even suicide. They pass visually but when they speak in halting Japanese, they were treated horribly by the Japanese. This is my experience... when someone finally realizes that I can't figure out what it is they are communicating, the result is devastating.

The Japanese are well known for this.

I usually have people telling me I am not autistic when I tell them I am.
It is quite annoying.
It implies they are consoling me because they see being autistic equates to being defective.
Being on the autistic spectrum usually equates to having a more difficult life, rather.

Unfortunately this happens with me with married women and I am married, gah!

My context was single people,
Not matters of infidelity.

I believe LC would like an intimate partner who is also a friend.

For someone like me, sleeping with a person is easy... friendship is really really hard. In order to make it work, friendship must be the goal. This is what gets me so twisted around... even IF I want to have sex with someone... friendship is the goal. I find it utterly confusing that people feign friendship to get sex. I have found that being in a relationship where there is no sexual pressure is absolutely liberating :)

I don't do intercourse.
I have *never* been into the rutting practice.
Masturbation is fine these days, since the chatholic church has stopped deeming it a sin.

I find women very attractive, but I am not interested in a significant other relationship and becoming a "Breeder".

So, agreed... LC deserves an intimate friend and friends who do not pressure her into something she does not want.
She deserves mutuality and honesty, as do we all :)

I think LC is a cutie,
If that isn't too politically incorrect to say.
I wish her all the best.

No, it isn't.

For a worthless loser working min wage retail it is. For someone needing a youthful relationship ,that only people on their 20s have, it is.
Most people my age own houses, own two cars, and have multiple kids.

Stop calling yourself a loser, Sly!

The only way you have a chance is to get yourself out of that mindset.

Get your butt out of that false thought.

I didn’t own ANY cars until 2012, age 51. I have no children at age 59. Many successful guys fit that description.

I’m glad Sly would never “grab any wenches.”

In all seriousness, Sly is a gentleman. Even though he’s not too keen on liberals at the moment.

No one would consider anyone working min wage retail to be successful, and that’s people working full time, I work 12-16 hours a week.

People like me are called losers but most everyone else. It’s everywhere I go socially.
Most single women consider me a worthless loser, while some out there might nit ive never met one who doesn’t.

Just the mean ones. Most people I know outside of work are liberal minded but they don’t attack me like on here. The guy I play games with hates trump and we have some heated discussions but he’s never been mean to me or defriended me, nor I him. Same with isa. Dragons is left leaning too I think and we get along fine. Hurtloam though we don’t discus s politics. I’m sure there’s others I haven’t mentioned.

Conservatives on wp have been kinder to me lately even though we likely disagree on more stuff then I would with liberals.

But this is love and dating thread so that’s all I’ll say on thst. I hope lc is ok, she hasn’t returned to this in day or so.

Hi LunaticCentruroides

I would imagine you are the "mix" like me (ASD + ADD/ADHD). We are the "drones" of the human race (according to my theory). Unlike many aspies, we are HIGHLY interactive with people.

I have had the same experience with women. Fortunately for me being a guy, most women are subtle... so I can generally ignore it until it all blows up (maybe not THAT fortunately). Don't get me started on the women who think I am way too into them! Evidently... "I flirt"... news to me.

It is truly a curse though because I want platonic female friends! I feel uncomfortable around most men. I remember hearing some guy complaining about being in the "friend zone" with women. I said... "that would be so awesome!". He gave me that uncomfortable look that means I said something wrong. I recently had another friendship with a woman fall apart (I thought she wanted to be friends but she reacted coldly when I told her I would never cheat on my wife)

I truly understand how you feel. My only advice would be to set up front boundaries and communicate clearly what you want (although NT people tell so many (white?) lies, they may not believe you). You may be able to find asexual men who want nothing to do with sex (although I had one woman friend who was asexual end up wanting to be sexual with me). I have one good lesbian friend :)

It is deeply unfulfilling to invest heart and trust in a person only to find out they have an agenda :(

Hahaha the "drones" :D

I love your post.

Very interesting to read such a thing from another person that happens to be a man..
And yes, I'm probably one of the highly interactive ones meanwhile(if comfortable) like you and maybe a bit flirty/charming? even if not intentionally.. I just feel like once you learned how to talk to people, it's comes out automatically and it starts to make fun, even if there are no specific emotions in the game.. And that's what NT's probably assume at that point

The opposite gender reacting cold if they find out we have no deeper interests, is very hurtful and I know this very good as well. Even if they just do it to protect their own feelings, if it's reduced on sex I feel like they just had sh***y intentions.

"although NT people tell so many (white?) lies, they may not believe you" - TRUE
