Uh no...in fact I know some guys here that're not like that even in other sites. In fact, in most of my posts I've been careful not to generalize guys the way most of the posts do about women and yet I still manage to piss the majority off.
Well, I was going on the specific post I quoted - you were agreeing to a universal generalisation.

I've known better sites even with guys in them that didn't act this weird about women posting.
? I object to all of us getting tarred with the same brush, I have nothing against women posting - in fact some of my favourite members are women.

It never ceases to amaze me how socially acceptable misandry is.
In the very window I'm using for this reply, the word "misandry" has a red dotted line beneath it. Why? Because the spellchecker hasn't been programmed to acknowledge that misandry exists. There's one example of that you mean, pbcoll.
However, two wrongs don't make a right. We males have to be
on our guard against becoming mysogynistic.
True.

I'm not to proud of having made sweeping generalisations, especially in the face of evidence proving them to be unfounded.

I make negative generalisations about both genders, but I don't think I make many universal ones - I think most people of either gender are shallow, vapid and selfish, so depending on which gender I'm talking about I could easily come accross as really misogynistic or really misandrous. But I try to stay away from saying 'all' because it is neither true nor fair.
