^No, actually, I've never watched it before. The only manga I read is Clamp manga or Claymore, and the only anime I watch are Studio Ghibli movies.

Do you believe that people who are potential soulmates are destined to meet each other?

^Yes, I do!

That's an interesting point of view.
Still, it takes just a small disturbance to prevent them from meeting.

I believe that life flows, so things happen when they need to happen.

I could have had a soulmate in high school but I screwed up the opportunity.

I screwed up a few opportunities when I was in high school.

I met my "soulmate" in high school. It didn't turn out so well.

She ended her own life many years after we broke up.

It's always kind of shocking to hear abut cases of suicide.

I have a belief in a God who plans each day for our lives; and i believe that He engineered all the meetings with the kindred spirits in my life. (You can disagree with me in one of the religion threads if you are so inclined--i am not trying to persuade anyone one way or the other as i know some of you disagree-- just telling where i am coming from here.) Honestly, considering some of the circumstances of some of my meetings with people, i don't see how it could have happened by chance.

It happened because she took the wrong path in life. She decided the drug addict life was exciting, and was the most "real" existence. She thought going to school/bettering herself was the "sell-out" approach. She was very intelligent, but extremely misguided.

She came to the realization that she was going "nowhere."

I'm not sure if this was an accidental or a purposeful overdose--but it doesn't really matter, for it ended with her demise.

What was the drug involved?

Not all drugs are equally lethal.

She was a heroin addict.
