Threads like this are ret*d. All women are different and have different interests/hobbies. If you're an otherwise decent guy they would like, they're not gonna lose interest just because you like playing video games or you're interested in racing. Likewise, if you're a prick they're not gonna suddenly start liking you because of a shared hobby you have. Just be yourself and don't be desperate or over-analyse the whole women/dating subject.
Very true.
Going on a tangent, because you just made me think of it, last Sunday I went to a football game for the first time in years and years. As I wandered through all the tailgaters and other regulars, I wondered what it would have been like if I had fallen in love with a guy who was super interested in football, and made that his regular Sunday activity, instead of my shy guy who prefers museums. You know, I would have adapted. I could do the tailgate thing every week all fall if it made my guy happy. Just because it isn't something I would ever pick, doesn't mean I can't recognize that it can be fun.
People know what interests they can shift and deal with, and what interests they really want no part of. Even then, it isn't always a deal breaker: my husband loves to wilderness camp, but I most certainly am not going along. As long as he can find other people to share that with, we're good.
What no one wants is to be lied to. You're going to marry a real person, not a resume.
