Anyone here hate their ex?
Most of my exes I have gotten along fine because we both agreed things never worked out but remained friends after wards. However there is one ex I hate but it took alot to get me into having such harsh feelings. She was my ex fiance who after 2 years together began to be possesive controlling and abusive also cheated on me and tormented me whenever i had melt downs. She triggered me into self harm and laughed about it every time and egged me on to slit my wrists and told me I was a push over. As I slit my wrists and in horrible suicidal meltdown mode she laughed and put on her head phones and walked away while my room mate called the ambulance to pick me up.I still get flash backs once in a great while about that incident it was on christmas eve 2005.

I don't hate any of my ex's. I hate the actions displayed by myself and by them in relationships we had together which ultimately led to the demise of each relationship. I am friends with most of my ex's. Other's we just don't have contact for no reason other then drifting away for various reasons.

Oh, yeah, this thread was MADE for me.
I hate my ex. I really, really hate him. This isn't as bad as it might seem, though. For a long time, I still trusted him and thought he cared about me, even after he'd tried to kill me. Then, I discovered he had lied and said it was my fault he tried to kill me, so I became really scared of him. After a few months, I began to hate him. The way I see it, it's important for me to go through these stages. I'm starting to think about him less and less--sometimes, I'll go a day or two without thinking about him--and I'm starting to move on. The parts of me that he locked up are coming open again. It's been just over two years since he tried to kill me, and I'm finally reclaiming what's mine.
Keep in mind that I'm not the only one who hates him. Just about every friend of mine I've told about what happened hates him, and so do my family members who are old enough to know about it. It's not just some imagined grudge of mine. But if I'd never started to hate him, I would never have gotten to the point where I could go a day without thinking about him. Whether or not the thoughts are hateful is irrelevant; I just have to get away from him.
And some girls wonder where mysogynists come from. THIS is what generates them! ... that is, unless you don't let this horrible, HORRIBLE woman ruin the entire gender for you.
There's gotta' be some nice, kind, non-manipulating gals out there left for us..... right?
Hang in there!

Misogyny happens because of ONE person?
Wouldn't it be more reasonable to hate that ONE person instead of HALF THE POPULATION OF THE WORLD?

Of course, when bad things happen to women it's because they deserved it. Are you new here or something? Women as a gender clearly need to issue a decree from the Council of Females that dictates strict behavioral guidelines otherwise we deserve to be treated like second class citizens.

Sometimes, yes. Bear in mind that I can replace misogyny with the at-least-as-popular "Man Hater" equivalent.
One horrible, devastating experience with a single person can utterly destroy a person's faith in the entire gender/race/whatever.
Repeat negative experiences will exponentially increase the odds of such.
No, it's not logical but it happens regularly to everyone of every race, religion and gender.
I was giving him a pat on the back and gently reminding NOT to let this happen. So you militant gals, please give me SOME hope there's some gals out there that don't intend to fight tooth and nail to be right every single time. Relationships fail that way.
Thank god. Finally you get it. A few of the other androcrats were doubting you ever would. I told them to be patient. I told them "If there's one thing a woman can learn (and yeah, there's pretty much just the one thing) it's her place." Thanks for not letting me down. Now, about that sandwich...

Modest Mouse - The View
I really despise my ex girlfriend.
She gave me horribly traumatic experiences, and told things to a friend she shouldn't have.
A lot of misunderstandings and confusing things happened, that I handled poorly because stress alters my mind quite a bit. Yet, the things she's done, I will never forgive. She lied to me, my friends, and an enemy of mine, to make me look bad. She kept trying to avoid me, when I wanted to talk to her about the chaos and try to make things at least a little easier, and even abused my emotions (she admitted she was trying to make me suffer) when I was already in risk of going to the hospital for depressive starvation. I just wanted peace, and she wanted me in pain. She always tried to manipulate me to make me feel or look stupid after she stopped trying to avoid me, when I was at one point thinking she was okay with everything again.
She gave me a horrible year. Memories that took a long time to forget. Hell.
But thankfully, I'm back to my old self. The number one hyper active happy-go-lucky maniac comedian from space. I've been in good health since Christmas.
I just hope my next girlfriend isn't so... unpredictably psycho o.O
