Being put on a pedestal from time to time because of character is fine. And both sexes sometimes need the white knight. The problem is, when it's done consistantly simply because of what type of plumbing the other has.

that's reasonable. both genders are simply human and should be treated as such, but individual people sometimes need a boost or someone to defend them. i find a person who stands up for others to be quite sexy.

When someone overreacts to a simple question because their ego/whatever you are supposed to tell them that they arent that good.

Ive only done it once.

We were just talking after a party and she kept bringing up other boys she had crushes on in a nothing is going to happen way.
I pointed her out that I had made a friend that was outside of our group that night and he had asked me to introduce him to two women(there were only 4 women on that event so there was a high chance she was one of them) after she asked I pointed her out it was a younger girl she was jealous of and some other girl that wasnt generically hot.

After her shock I pointed out that this person probably hadnt seen her and she improved her attitude when talking to me.

Actually that does make sense... males should be more dominant and decisive and controlling, that's how some of them whacko guys end up with dates and those women.
Not that hard to achieve after all, as I can be a b*****d when necessary.

"Most" women want to be in control of the relationship and be in a position to easily manipulate their man, when girls are younger this is what the friend zoned are for.When women get older they start to realize that it's time to settle down and this type of white knight guy is perfect for husband material because he does what she asks, won't care if she gets fat, and will support her even when she's being dumb.

The goal is to not be a pushover, be a leader, be confident, don't let her get away with bad behaviour, push through your relationship/marriage with purpose.... you also must respect your partner, respect her opinion, and be aware that a relationship is a two-way street that will require compromise, love, and understanding.

i think people don't exactly put that into perspective. i've seen men accused of being "white knights" on the board when all they are doing is arguing alongside women. they didn't do anything to "exploit" women - all they did was disagree with a fellow male.
