Hopefully she'll react and be like OMG, where?...
Then just say you will get it instead. Then after about 10 to 20 seconds, say you got the insect off.

There, now you have her attention!

Desperativity has reached a new low.

agreed, though i can see a funny version of this like
"you have something on your hair "
"ohh, where, what is it?"
"my attention"

it's a lot of damn hard work, but anything worth having in life never comes easy, men have to have more qualifications than women do in order to be dating/relationship material

I get most all of my dates from online sites where you get to exchange messages, then chat on facebook before arranging to meet. My first gf did contact me first and come on to me first. And I enjoyed that.

When it gets slow online, I also wear this to the supermarket or crowded public events. It already worked for me once last spring at a small town festival nearby. It may look quirky, but it does get a lot of compliments!

i'd be mortified wearing that although it's a great idea. My superman shirt strikes up convos.

Most women do prefer to be approached rather than do it themselves, that is true... Also I don't see why someone's sexual orientation should make a difference; I'm a bisexual woman and I prefer another person to make the first move. There are occasions when I have made moves towards another person, though.

You can't force attraction, either a specific girl notices you or not. What you possibly could do is keep maintaining your good shape, be groomed with neat clothes matching your personality and importantly, smile :) If you struggle maintaining a conversation, you could try asking questions about her (most people are usually happy to talk about themselves). You already mentioned you are a good listener.

Good luck!

Also, grooming is super important. Shave, brush your teeth, wear aftershave, all that good stuff.

And floss! Floss, floss, floss. Not flossing is gross.

It's no use smiling (as the previous poster recommends) if your smile is full of visible plaque jammed between your teeth.

The bleach isn't very healthy, nor will it help much if you're not willing to keep 'em clean. The big thing with flossing is the food that gets stuck between teeth is ROTTING there and results in very, VERY nasty breath! (Don't believe me? Floss once and fish out a chunk of something... then smell it. That's what in your mouth stinking up the place!)

My sister barely brushed, NEVER flossed and her teeth got disgusting black rot-holes between them and even started breaking. Now she can't even get a job because her mouth is so revolting to look at!

Not flossing is a Big Deal. It might not be for some ladies, of course. There are probably lots of ladies out there who do not floss, so it will not bother them if you don't floss, either. But personally I find it disgusting if somebody doesn't floss.

it also seems women are far more likely to change their mind, lose attraction for someone than it is for a guy

thats to do more with the role of being approached than gender.
