Then people would be like "mew mew mew, we don't want nuclear power, it's dangerous, you're a madman, man with the nuclear powered flying fortress." But then you'd be in a nuclear powered flying fortress and able to ignore the world.

The keywords being "ignore the word". I will be honest with you: as genocidal as it sounds, there is something very appealing about post-apocalyptic settings like the Fallout world, the Mad Max world or the future Earth from Justice League Unlimited episode "Hereafter". I think it is the idea of fighting for survival and not having to put up with civilization's antics that attracts me so much. If I ever realize my dream of becoming a "Sky Nomad", I will spend the majority of my life in the wilderness, gathering, fishing and hunting my own food and only going back to civilization when I need materials to repair my airship. Or when I need money to pay for my internet connection, since I intend to keep some investments to retain some connection (and maybe influence) with the world.

LOL pay for internet connection, noob. Build a satellite dish wifi antenna and aim it at a McDonalds. http://www.engadget.com/2005/11/15/how- ... h-antenna/ 125 mile wifi link via satellite dishes, only boosted to 250mw I think (link there to the project for 125 miles doesn't work.)

We should talk more about this air ship idea. You ever think of perhaps making it a blimp? That'd be ideal, I think, a blimp. You'd have to keep helium in it (the reason hydrogen was used in the Hindenburg is because helium is mostly found in USA and quite expensive outside of USA) or fuel it like a hot air balloon. Of course, ever play with the idea of electrostatic propulsion, and basically make yourself your own UFO to fly around with? That, I believe is where a lot of UFO myth comes from. Notice, South America has some of the most sightings of them. The Nazi scientists that escaped went to South America, and Nazi Germany was developing those sort of aircraft. There's rumors even that Marconi had a giant base in South America, also many people don't know that Marconi, on the "mad scientist" scale was just tied with Tesla.

Personally, I think a sea base is much more ideal, have like a cargo tanker to yourself, or even just a nice yacht, and then go out to land when you want. Park it in international waters and tada.

Actually, I already considered the possibility of having my own free internet connection, although my idea involved sending my own satellite into orbit (more honest, but much more expensive and less practical). And I have already considered a marine base (preferably a yacht) as a second choice, in case my airship plan proves too unreasonable.

And yes, a helium, semi-rigid blimp is what I have in mind. Electrostatic propulsion is interesting, but I am going for something more realistically achievable and less energy-consuming. I can install solar panels on the airship's envelope and maybe even some wind turbines to make it self-sufficient.

Either you are me from an alternate timeline or one of us is reading the other's mind. I am really creeped out. 8O Alright, let us make a deal: whoever manages to build his airship/sea base/nuclear fortress will help the other to build another one. Afterwards, we will mount ion cannons, build an automated crew and battle each other with our sci-fi vehicles. :P

A mere formality to stay on topic...

I did not mention (although I implied), but whenever anybody asks me if I am a virgin, I always tell the truth. It would feel really weird to lie about it: how could I keep it convincing when they began to talk about sex? I do not always tell lies, but when I do, I make sure they are lies I can keep even after years.

Also, it is interesting to note that the flirtatious behavior of one of my coworkers (one of the three I mentioned before; she is quite attractive, but as I said, I am not really interested in women right now) has suddenly stopped since she asked me about my virginity. Which is good, actually, since it was making me feel very awkward and it was making it very difficult to keep my current "asexual" state. But it is also a little depressing. And maybe enlightening: it could be the reason why almost no women seem interested in me after they talk to me. :?

Don't worry, Nikola Tesla had the women chasing after him once he built his deathrays. Afterall, power is the best aphrodisiac, and what is more powerful than a deathray?

boo, i think you are misrepresenting the whole situation. I honestly doubt girls will think you're a player unless you're trying to come off as one.

No, I don't pretend to be a player, it's not like I am telling them "hey, I get 3 dates every week" or "hey, I had 100 relationships" - yes, I do flirt, compliment, use sexual innuendo - but I am not lying about my history and I don't even talk about it, it's just how I am.

I think it's all in your personality. You project a sensation of confidence, and as they don't ask you directly about your experiences, you can be evasive, so they see you as a confident and mysterious person, so not a virgin. Obviously you can be confident, mysterious and a virgin, but a lot of people out there still think about virgins in a stereotyped way, so the stereotype works in your favor here.

Probably men notice you are virgin because your conversations with them are more detailed and well, they don't try to "read" you as a woman that is interested in you does.

Yea, but problem arises when those women start wanting to probe more about the the man's past.

Btw, why women care SO much about a man's past relationships/sexual life?

Because social status, or an illusion of it (as long as it seems convincing) is all that matters to neurotypicals, women included (or especially to them). It basically consists of ways of thinking that the Aspies are the exact opposite of.

I don't see what kind of an Aspie in their right minds would date outside their Aspie-species.

The NT and Aspie ways of thinking are hardwired differently, the longer it takes you to realize this, the more you are wasting your time.

Yea, he's not even being realistic.

It's not like I have a bottomless pocket and can travel around the world.

To add, I've probably only gotten along with maybe 7-8 of them.

That's a good question, because I don't. I'd like to know why women are so concerned about it. Someone let me know when we have the answer.
