That definitely sounds like harassment. Where are all the decent women? Maybe doing whatever they want, with people who don't harass them. No one owes you their time, even if they've offered it. You do not have the right to make someone feel threatened because they flaked on you. You do not have the right to someone's time.

Regardless of the hyper-misogynists here who will tell you she was a big bad monster and you're just a poor little guy being mistreated by some wicked woman, you do not, I repeat you DO NOT ever have the right to make someone feel threatened because they aren't complying with your demands.

Learn some respect for women,(AND EVERYONE, REALLY) then maybe you can expect the same in return. And I'm sure it would be shocking as sh** to everyone here, but respecting people often DOES garner the same in return.

Perhaps he didn't realise that she felt threatened? If so, the best course of action is to not let it happen again.

A lesson to the boys: Any girl that ever flakes on you even once is not worth your time. Drop her immediately unless she had a good reason to flake...which isn't actually flaking at all if done only once or so.

A lesson to the girls: It's plainly obvious how much getting flaked on pisses off men, so let's not do it hmm? If you have no intention of actually going on a date/meetup/whatever with a guy, then say no. It's not complicated. If you change your mind, say so and move on.

I don't think harassment is a lesson to women. I think the lesson here is: don't harass anyone, don't message people repeatedly after they threaten to call the cops, leave people alone when they want nothing to do with you etc.

Perhaps, if someone threatens legal action if you keep bothering them and you don't know they feel threatened, you should avoid social interaction until you've learned better.

There's multiple lessons to be had here, and "don't harass people" is only one. Ask once, and if she doesn't answer? Drop her like it's hot. Ask again and you're being just a big a dick as the chick that flakes on you.

1. There's no evidence that he continued to contact her after she threatened to call the cops.

2. I think it's out of line to tell an aspie that he should avoid all social interaction when maybe all he needs is advice on social skills.
