Didn't expect to get a mention, but since you asked I've been in PPR mostly because of the partial government shutdown, then today I was out. Had to upgrade my bearded dragon's accommodations, and added two new baby dragons to the family.

Exciting day, yep.

That is too cool.I had a Cuban Knight Anole named Draco  I have a rescue Iguana,Tokay, and a Ball Python.and some very old pets that I purchased years ago,Nine year old leopard gecko,Korean Fire belly toad and an African frog.

Oh, I wonder whether is it good or bad I was not in that list. Probably good, L&D tires me out way too fast and I don't have as much time as I used to

I've never been a big pet person. Except when i played The Sims. Social contact is apparently manditory, so i just pet the animals. It works until you're required to have a certain number of friends to get a promotion *grumble*.

It clicked one day. I have empathy now. It has downsides i didn't expect. It's going somewhat poorly, since people tend to suck at new things. That's how you know it's true.

I do eventually want to expand to other amphibians and reptiles, plus a tarantula or two. Maybe even a giant scorpion. They'll have to wait until I have the money/space, however.

*60's star trek transporter sound*

Kirk: Scan the surrounds for shatbat's.
Bones: I'm picking up life signs.
Spock: It seems the rumors are untrue, there IS life on wrongplanet.
Kirk: Are you sure it has life?
Bones: The readings are faint jim, i can't tell if they have a life, or are simply alive.
Spock: Can you narrow the sensor sweep?
Kirk: No, don't bother. We have lives too. Beam us up Scotty.

I prefer contained pets myself, and rarely of the furry variety. I owned cats for most of my life, but mostly out of habit. I may get myself a fish or two in a few months, I miss having fish.

I really must watch the original Star Trek someday

I do know about TvTropes though, and I feel on the obligation of showing you this link~

Also, if you wait until social is in the red and then make a phone call, your sim automatically stays in the phone until it is filled up, and that is usually enough to reach 50 points of friendship and get a promotion. Just saying~

Hush, red shirt.

A Red Shirt is the Good Counterpart of Evil Minions and Mooks —set filler for our heroes' side. Their purpose is almost exclusively to give the writers someone to kill who isn't a main character...

Most of the important people are still here, except for Tallyman. Now that Captcha seems to be under control again, maybe he could be convinced to post something ... ?
