I hate ad hominim attacks myself, I simply don't take politics seriously. Too many politics make peoples live boring and dull!

I think an interest in it to a point of voting for what you believe is right for the country is not something that should be overlooked.

Personally, that's as far as I care about politics though.

I wouldn't marry a woman who may not take politics seriously but is somewhat aware of the current events of this country.

I completely agree OP I also don't take feminism seriously, and political correctness is a pain for me - I'd definitely marry someone not into politics because I am in no mans land - either political faction would hate me - I am from a former COmmunist country and based on the pains it brought my family, and I think it's important to be tough on criminals I am really against socialism so left wingers (which in my uni is almost all my classmates) hate me , and I have Victorian values (seperation of spheres, prudishness) and am sort of pro-life (because I am vegetarian and I see parallels - that both are innocents who can't speak for themselves) so feminists would hate me, but I am also a vegetarian, and I believe that there should be some safety net and am sort of Keynesian; I thinkk government should provide some things and I am against too much privatisation so right wingers'd hate me too :(

In fact I got broken up with/friend-zoned by the only love of my life because he couldn't bare my politics; I don't understand why to some people politics matters more than real life hobbies, personalities etc; I'm not even a citizen so it's not like I can even vote..
