That's wonderful you've met someone you're compatible with and have found happiness!

A lot of us feel like the world would be a better place if X or Y were different? But I would just focus on your happiness, build a nice life for yourself and your new love, and live and let live. People tend to get offended when you tell them that you've found the RIGHT way to live and others ways are wrong. And when people are offended, they're less likely to be warm and friendly toward you, thus making your existence less peaceful and harmonious.

Be gentle. Tell people your path if you like, but don't criticize others for their path-- simply be kind and accepting. These are not only good qualities, but they will lead to a more socially fulfilling life for you.

Why does one have to be religious to not be a slut? There are women who aren't religious or fixated on the afterlife or death yet they still manage to conduct themselves in the way you are describing, there are many monogamous people in relationships that aren't religious, divorce rates and cheating are still high in religious groups so I don't know what it has to do with any of this.

If you're saying that monogamy is a guide, a moral baseline, that's understandable that you feel that way but many religious rules are simply too extreme.

The point is Bill, sometimes your emotions take over, sometimes your desire and passion take over. In a perfect world, there would be no adultery or births where one member doesn't support the child but we aren't in a perfect world, Bill.

I used to be like you but I realized people are driven by their survival instincts and desire. Not everything is black and white, there are areas of grey.

Who are you to say how a person should love? Who are you to say who should reproduce you and who shouldn't? Who are you to say someone shouldn't be this or that if that makes them happy? Who are you to define the triggers inside? You want to play God, you want to tell people how to live their lives when it isn't yours.

Jesus wasn't a conservative, he was a socialist, a communist who was against the accumulation of wealth so I don't where you are getting your views from. Jesus never went around shouting down megaphones, cold calling or shopping at cotton traders, he never went around asking for thirty percent of wages from his followers so he could buy a house on the hill and he certainly never went around telling people they aren't worthy to reproduce, that is on you. I just need you to know what you are representing isn't God.

Indeed, all extremists regardless of what religion, group or institution should be locked away, that would solve a lot of problems in the world.

Them and their collective egos that can't see past simple differences in race or faith, wasting time on their stupid wars instead of advancing humanity through science and technology.

There are fewer abortions in 'Bible belt' states. But this may have something to do with availability as well as cultural preference or religious sensibilities.

There are fewer abortions because those who do have an abortion are faced with perpetual loneliness, isolation and persecution from their families, friends or fellow church members.

Just like there are less divorces in certain countries, that's because divorces usually don't exist and if you do divorce, you are shamed by many people.

Young girls have killed themselves over having a child, they should have the right to abort it.

People have the right to have sex with who they want and when they want, get over it.

I'm so glad I live in the EU and not one of these extremist places where religion is the norm.

Even Jesus challenged his lead disciple, Peter, on his faith and love (it seemed Peter was challenged the most from what I have read). Even asking Peter if he loved Jesus for who he was or what he could do for him. Those who loved what I could do for them often left my life when I couldn't give for a couple days. And your right that Jesus never asked for 30% of people's wages... but God asks for 10% of our income for our offering to him (the church offering plates for example. You see many people don't offer around here either for various reasons such as taxes and keeping their homes).

Like I said earlier.... Offer a Conservative Christian a good sum of money under the condition he gives up his faith. I find the issue with Conservative people is often that they worship money more than they worship God or follow the bible. My church and my faith is all about relationship and building them up rather than tearing them down.
