Yeah, I've got no problem with playing it slow, I'm just frustrated with myself 'cause I've got no idea where it's at.

I wouldn't mind the uncertainy of when I'll see her next so much if I could just know what's actually going on.

Probably because you now know you have AS you are trying to pick up every single cue from this girl and translate it....that will put you in a state of stress too, so be aware of that.

Unfortunately we always want to know where things are going...the unpredictability of those early days of dating someone seems to be very tough. Try to remember that this is the time that people get to know each other, likes / dislikes etc...I think the more you try and push to see where it is going with her, will turn her off a bit....no-one can predict that so early on.

I mean, when you meet a guy, do you think...'oh, I wonder if we will be best friends for life'??? No?? Well then try and apply that to this situation...it's early days.

If you really like her, she will see that...especially if she's worked with AS.

i always suffer with that, and girls can pick up on it, which usually kills it for me. I usually ruin it by getting physical right away, which makes them think it was only about sex. When i wait too long, they think i'm gay because i dont pick up on the signs.
Also, i'm not sure if you're doing this or not, and I'm certainly not a pro, but i do better when i'm the "real" me, and not the "socially correct" me. If you're serious about her, she's going to have to know the real you, so make sure you let her see that. I may get laid more often with the socially correct me, but i have never had a worthwhile relationship out of it.

I think 4 dates in 8 days is way too many. You might think you are playing it slowly but you are really not. Seeing a girl more than twice per week is anti-challenge and will lower her interest level in you. Challenge is a male strength quality that women (NT) find attractive. You need to leave her wondering what you are getting up to, how many times you have been to the playboy mansion while shes away from you etc. Can you see what I'm saying here? The truth is that the women is keeping you on probation till you make it till roughly the tenth date. Until then, do not push her to reveal her feelings! She has not made up her mind yet anyway. So stop with the I don't know what's going on thing and just relax. The fact that she is willing to go on dates with you if proof enough that she is still interested.

I disagree completely with nb411. Then again, I don't suggest ANY dates.
I did one, and it didn't work. But, I found that by lavishing all of my time
on someone, I'd create fast and strong bonds.

I will send you $10,000 to your bank account if you can create a long lasting, happy, meaningful relationship with an NT woman by "lavishing all your time on her". Being needy drives them away, seriously man it's a basic fact which I have explained in more detail above.

Eh. I don't know what an NT woman is.
But, two women who I am pretty sure
were NAS fell for me under just such
circumstances. One happened to be
psychotic though. Additionally, all of
those that I formed very good bonds
with whom I believe were AS (or damn
close) also fell for it. The full force of
our interest is hard to turn away from,
once you've captured them.

Good for you... but by "no doubt" do you mean you asked her?

That smile would indicate quite a
bit more than asking as evidence.

...that's what I thought of the smile icon in his post, but since we are not in an adult thread, I thought I'd better keep the details of my comment to myself!

Eh, could be innocent enough.
I know mine is INTERESTED.
Haven't managed to plumb
the depths of that interest though.
Could just be toying.

hehehe...

It's innocent, we haven't even kissed yet.

I just noticed that she seemed to have some sort of "game plan" with me.

Not meaning she was playing games, but she wanted to go about it a certain way.

She wanted to take it slow and be sure instead of jumping in too quickly, which I've now seen the benefits of and realised was because she really thought things could work well with us and didn't want to ruin it by rushing in.

But anyway, long story short she told me straight out last night that she definitely likes me and let me know that she wants things to escalate from here.

We're going for dinner on the Brisbane river on a paddle boat this Thursday night.

Hence: :D
